The Country Radio Broadcasters have announced Keith Urban as the recipient of the 2016 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, to be presented during the opening ceremonies of Country Radio Seminar on Feb. 8, 2016. Last year’s Artist Humanitarian Award recipient, Lady Antebellum, will be on hand to present Urban with this year’s award.
In spirit of the holiday season, Country Radio Seminar is offering a $100 discount on CRS 2016 registrations, available now through Jan. 7. Following the deadline, the $529 per person rate will increase to $629. Country Radio Seminar (CRS) and the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will partner to offer CRS 2016 attendees a private reception and free tour of the museum on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 5-7 p.m. CT. This keystone event is one of the many new events planned to launch, “The New CRS Experience.” In addition, CRS attendees can visit the museum on Monday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. CT.
Country Radio Seminar officials have announced the CRS 2016 New Faces of Country Music Show performers. The five acts to appear are Brothers Osborne (EMI Nashville), Kelsea Ballerini (Black River Entertainment), Cam (Arista Nashville), Old Dominion (RCA Nashville), and Chris Janson (Warner Music Nashville).
Friday, Oct. 16 marks the deadline to purchase $429 Early Bird registrations for Country Radio Seminar 2016. The regular rate will take effect on Oct. 17, increasing registrations to $529 per person. For the fourth consecutive year, Country Radio Seminar is offering a special, limited time $349 Summer Super Saver registration rate for CRS 2016, which is scheduled for Feb. 8-10. Monday, Jan. 12 is the deadline to purchase $499 regular rate registrations for Country Radio Seminar 2015. The on-site rate will take effect on Jan. 13, increasing registrations to $599 per person.
