Cass County debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, marking the first No. 1 album of Don Henley’s solo career. With more than 87,000 units sold in its first week of release, according to Nielsen Music, it was the top selling album of the week. It is also No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. Cass County is Henley’s first solo studio album since Inside Job, which was released in May of 2000.
Cass County, Don Henley’s first solo album in 15 years, has premiered on NPR, which is streaming the album as part of its “First Listen” series. The album can be heard in its entirety HERE up until its September 25 release via Capitol Records.
Don Henley will release CASS COUNTY, his fifth studio album, and first solo album in 15 years, on September 25, 2015. Named for the northeastern Texas county in which Henley was raised, CASS COUNTY will be available as a 12-song standard CD and digital album, as well as a 16-track deluxe version, which will be available on CD, digitally, and a double disc, 180 gram Vinyl LP.
