The Band Perry Announces “Pioneer” And Reveals Album Cover

Lead Single, “Better Dig Two,” Takes #1 Spot At Country Radio

Earlier this morning The Band Perry shared some exciting news about their highly-anticipated sophomore album. The sibling trio announced the title, PIONEER, and unveiled the album cover via social media platforms. The follow up to their PLATINUM-certified debut album is due out April 2 on Republic Nashville.  See the announcement here: http://bit.ly/ZdiKhz.

Building on the musical foundation demonstrated by the band on their first album, PIONEER, is steeped in country tradition, with rock and roll elements both on performance and songwriting. The album was produced by Dann Huff and has been listed as one of Entertainment Weekly’s “12 Albums We Can’t Wait For.”

“When we set out to record PIONEER, the three of us drove across the country from Greeneville to Malibu to work with one of our musical superheroes, Rick Rubin,” said Reid Perry.  “Our time in the studio with Rick was so incredible because during our early sessions he challenged us to set higher goals as songwriters.”

If the lead single, “Better Dig Two,” is any indication, the family band’s upcoming project on Republic Nashville is poised for success. In a mere two months, the Top 10-and-climbing tune has become their fastest-rising single to date and has already sold over 650,000 downloads.

As special guests on Rascal Flatts’ CHANGED TOUR, The Band Perry will take a break from recording this weekend and head to Green Bay, WI tonight (1/10); Moline, IL on 1/11 and Springfield, MO on 1/12 where they will unveil their new show, complete with stellar production and a sneak preview of new music from their forthcoming release.

Republic Nashville recording artists The Band Perry recently returned from a stint in the United Kingdom where the family trio played to packed houses and sold out venues in Glasgow, Manchester and London.

Each night, the sibling trio introduced fans to their new single, “Better Dig Two,” which has already sold well over 250,000 downloads in the United States and has also garnered much critical acclaim.

The Band Perry’s highly-anticipated sophomore album is slated for release in April 2013. Travel Channel’s “Extreme RVs” Features The Band Perry On Sunday, November 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT

The Band PerryCountry sensation The Band Perry is slated to appear on Travel Channel’s “Extreme  RVs” on Sunday, November 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.  In the season opener, this all-new episode gives viewers a look at the sibling trio’s one-of-a-kind tour bus…complete with a rolling mobile studio!

For decades, the Hemphill Brothers have been building custom coaches.  The family met with Trent and Joey Hemphill at their facility just outside of Nashville for the unique experience, where The Band Perry helped design their new custom ride.

“We love our new bus!  It’s our home away from home.  Our friends at Hemphill Brothers were so wonderful to work with,” said Kimberly Perry.

“Having our custom tour bus makes life on the road a lot better,” added Reid Perry.

“The ability to write songs and demo them just got easier with the mobile studio,” said Neil Perry.
