Nashville Concert To Benefit The Alzheimer’s Foundation Of America At City Winery

WHO?

•The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) presents the “AFA Evening Together For Care For the Love of Jewel Austin” with performances by Reba McEntire, Lee Ann Womack, Brandy Clark and more surprise guests.

•Produced by Warner Music Nashville’s VP Creative Director, Shane Tarleton, the event celebrates the life of Jewel Austin, Tarleton’s grandmother, who passed away from Alzheimer’s disease.

•Suzanne Alexander, TV host of Great American Country Nights and On the Streets will emcee the event.

 

 

WHAT?

Proceeds from “AFA Evening Together for Care For the Love of Jewel Austin” will benefit The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), a national non-profit organization with more than 2,600 member organizations nationwide, dedicated to assuring quality of care and excellence in service to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, and their families and caregivers.

 

“AFA is grateful for the support received from Shane Tarleton and the Nashville community,”  said Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr., President and CEO of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, “Special thanks to Reba McEntire, Lee Ann Womack, Brandy Clark and other Country Music artists for their participation.”

 

 

WHY?

Alzheimer’s disease affects more than 5 million Americans living with the illness, and their families and caregivers.  It is the sixth most common cause of death in the United States, and the only one in the top 10 without a cure.
