50th ACM Awards | Tickets to Next Year’s Show & Events SOLD OUT in 18mins!

Music fans turned out in droves today when tickets became available for the largest celebration in country music history, SELLING OUT 70,000 TICKETS IN 18 MINUTES for BOTH the 50th ANNIVERSARY OF THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, Country Music’s Party of the Year® on April 19, 2015 from AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AND forACM Party for a Cause®: 50 Years of Music & Memories on April 17-18, 2015 at Globe Life Park, home of the Texas Rangers, in Arlington, Texas.  The events were the biggest—and fastest—selling in the Academy’s history.

 

“We want to thank the fans for their continued support.  This sale was unprecedented and far exceeded our expectations,” said Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy.  “We’re working hard to plan more events to accommodate as many fans as we can.  Country music is alive and well in North Texas!”

 

There may be tickets made available as staging for all ACM events becomes finalized and production kill seats open up to reveal more space in each venue – if that happens, the ACM A-List will be notified first.  Fans are encouraged to sign up for the ACM A-List for FREE at www.ACMcountry.com to receive event updates.

 

The 50th ACM Awards will be broadcast LIVE for the first time ever from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.   Four-time ACM Award winners Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will return to co-host this super-sized night of incredible country music performances, which will cap off three days of events, including the3rd annual ACM Party for a Cause®: 50 Years of Music & Memories on April 17-18, 2015 at Globe Life Park, in Arlington, Texas. This two-day outdoor music event will include multiple stages for ongoing LIVE country music performances, interactive experiences, a family-friendly country marketplace with food trucks and vendors from around the country, and much more. Singer/songwriter and Black River Entertainment recording artist Kellie Pickler looked radiant on the Academy of Country Music Awards’ Red Carpet last Sunday (Apr. 6), being named on the majority of critics “Best Dressed” lists. Now she is auctioning the Pandora charm bracelets she wore at charitybuzz.com to raise money for ACM Lifting Lives®, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. About Kellie Pickler
Kellie Pickler grew up immersed in country music in the small town of Albemarle, North Carolina with the words of Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton shaping her musical footing. Dierks Bentley with Sheryl Crow, Lee Brice, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker and Rascal Flatts will all perform on the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. It was also announced that presenters including Thea Andrews, Guy Fieri, LL COOL J, Jewel, Olivia Munn, Nancy O’Dell, Chris O’Donnell, Clay Walker and Trisha Yearwood will appear on the ceremony which will be co-hosted by Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton and broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.

Luke Bryan Ready to Co-Host ACM Awards With Appearances Set for The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Talk

The Academy of Country Music’s reigning Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan, is excited for his second ACM Awards co-hosting honor and will be promoting the show with multiple appearances scheduled for this week.

Luke will be a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this Thursday, April 3, his second appearance on the program in less than a month after his satellite performance of “She Get Me High” from Panama City Beach, Florida on March 13. Luke will also appear on The Talk this Friday, April 4. Entertainment Tonight and The Insider will broadcast interviews with Luke on April 3 and 4, respectively, and he’ll also be talking to E! News, Extra, Access Hollywood and more!
