Jason Aldean Flashes Back To “1994” For The Third Single Off “Night Train”

Aldean Heads to NYC Next Week for Multiple Television Appearances, All For The Hall New York and a Sold-Out Madison Square Garden Show

Jason Aldean

Platinum selling entertainer Jason Aldean will give country radio a dose of nostalgia unlike anything heard before when he releases his next single, “1994,” available now on Play MPE.

“1994” embraces hip-hop elements and takes listeners on a fun journey through the year Aldean was a senior in high school, Justin Bieber was born, OJ Simpson’s white Bronco sped across the nation’s TV screens and a gallon of gas only cost $1.09. When Aldean first heard the demo of the song, written by Barry Dean, Luke Laird and Thomas Rhett, he nearly fell out of his chair laughing and knew it was something totally different that he wanted to take a crack at recording for the record.

Lady Antebellum To Release Fourth Studio Album on May 7

Lady Antebellum, Golden

Lady Antebellum appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America Tuesday morning (February 19th) to announce the details of their fourth studio album, Golden, which is set for release May 7th. The three wrote the title track with label-mate Eric Paslay over a bottle of wine in Charles Kelley’s library room. “”It’s actually the last song we wrote for the record,” Charles tells The Huffington Post. While a few details have yet to be finalized, the collection will include 11 or 12 songs, half of which were written or co-written by the group. Paul Worley is once again at the helm for Golden, having produced all Lady A’s previous releases.

“This album feels to me like one of those that from start to finish could be a good road-trip record and that’s what we wanted,” said Lady A’s Charles Kelley. “It’s one of the reasons why the term ‘golden’ was kind of cool. I think about road trips and driving down the road with those little streaks of sunshine popping through the trees, especially at sunset. ‘Golden’…it just gives you this warm, easy feeling.”

Kellie Pickler Showed Her Love For Female Troops This Past Valentine’s Day

Kellie Pickler

USO tour veteran Kellie Pickler is no stranger to supporting our men and women in uniform–it’s something she’s been doing since she set out on her first USO tour in 2007. Along the way she’s lifted the spirits of more than 30,000 servicemen and women stationed in eight countries.  So, it’s no surprise that the country music singer/songwriter wanted to do something special for our female soldiers spending Valentine’s Day in Afghanistan and Kuwait.

Having traveled to Afghanistan on three out of her six USO tours, the songstress learned first-hand how difficult it is to feel like a lady when you’re in the desert.  When she found out about “Ladies Night,” hosted monthly by USO centers in the Middle East, Pickler jumped at the chance to be involved.  Designed to give our female soldiers a chance to bond with each other, pamper themselves and take a much-needed break from military living, the events are strictly ladies only.
