Winners and partakers of No Shave November benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® celebrated their accomplishments on Monday (12/1) during the fourth annual Beard Bash at Nashville’s The Row Kitchen & Pub. This year, more than $145,000 was raised to help St. Jude continue to find cures and save children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. In the past four years, No Shave November has raised over $500,000 to support St. Jude.

Music industry organization Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID) will donate 5,000 pounds of food to Second Harvest Food Bank and $3,200 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a result of its 29th annual Turkey Bowl fundraiser. Each year SOLID hosts the event the Saturday before Thanksgiving to give back to the Nashville community during the holidays.

The AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN AWARDS, based on country music’s longest-running radio countdown show, “American Country Countdown with Kix Brooks,” which has recognized the best in country radio for more than 40 years, today announced the inaugural event’s finalists.
