Rock Bottom Brewery In Downtown Nashville Debuts An All-New Nashville Favorites Menu

I was fortunate enough to be invited to attend the VIP preview party debuting Rock Bottom Brewery’s all-new Nashville Favorites menu.

The party took place on their beautiful rooftop overlooking lower Broadway in downtown Nashville.  The outside was decked out with a modern-style firepit, white & red couches/chairs, heat lamps, and they unvailed a colorful, new mural on a prominent wall.  They featured a beautifully-decorated area inside with the bar that included flowers and boot-shaped floral arrangements scattered about, and out by the red carpet at the entry of the building.  There was a nice sampling of many of the new menu items and their full cocktail menu, plus a special acoustic performance by rising country artist, Chris Lane.

Unfortunately, the weather did not quite cooperate since it was such a cold, windy and overcast day.  Despite this, Chris Lane braved the cold outside along with most of the guests at the party for a 30-minute performance.  Even in the cold, he gave a great performance to an appreciative, attentive crowd huddled together near the heat lamps to try to keep warm.

Luckily, the rooftop is half enclosed, so the cold did not dampen the spirits of guests, and allowed the party to continue on for invited patrons to enjoy delicious southern-inspired food and creative cocktails.

My personal favorites were the ribs with a BBQ sauce infused with a Nashville favorite, Jack Daniels Whiskey, and a little spice to add just the right amount of heat to the tender, delicious ribs.  The shrimp & grits were also especially tasty and flavorful.  Always a favorite of mine and many others.  The pomegranate cosmopolitan was so pretty, I wasn’t sure I wanted to drink it.  However, it tasted just as good as it looked.  Sweet & fruity in a tall-stemmed, martini glass with just the right amount of alcohol; not too much and not too little.  It was a highly-flavorful concoction that I can’t wait to enjoy again next time I am in downtown Nashville.  What can I say about the two desserts I tasted? Banana pudding and bourbon pecan pie.  Both tasty and decadent.  Completely satisfied my sweet tooth!

Also on the new menu, there is delicious, new beer that has been brewed for the update, along with perfectly-fried, fresh hush puppies, bacon-wrapped green beans, chicken bites with waffles, and so much more.  You will want to try out their all-new menu yourself.

Rock Bottom Brewery is located on the corner of Broadway and 2nd Ave., offering great views of downtown Nashville and Riverfront Park.  Open seven days a week.

If looking for a fun place book your company’s holiday party this year or somewhere to enjoy NYE coming up that is slightly away from the crowds of the Nashville NYE celebration at Bicentennial Park, but still gives you a great view of the fireworks and among Nashville’s historical district where everyone seems to want to be, it’s a great option and I highly-recommend it.
