Country Music Roots and GRAMMY Award-winning ensemble, Old Crow Medicine Show, set to release 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde THE CONCERT on September 15th; the DVD and BLU-ray performance of the band’s sixth album, 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde which released April 28th via Columbia Records Nashville.
In May 2016, to mark the 50th anniversary of Bob Dylan’s Blonde On Blonde, Old Crow Medicine Show performed Dylan’s iconic album in its entirety at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The event coincided with an exhibit that explored Dylan’s time in Nashville – “Dylan, Cash and the Nashville Cats: A New Music City.”
The live concert, Lee Tucker directed film, includes 14 songs including “Just Like A Woman,” “I Want You” and “Rainy Day Women #12 & 35,” in the way the Old Crow Medicine Show knows how to do it, with high-octane, passion and excitement.
The 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde THE CONCERT film world premiere will be held at the legendary Belcourt Theater in Nashville, Tenn. during the 18th Annual Americana Music Festival and Conference on Tuesday, September 12th at 7:15pm. Immediately following the premiere will be a Q and A with band members of Old Crow Medicine Show.
