Texas native and country sweetheart Mary Sarah advances this week to the top 11 on NBC’s “The Voice” as she paid a heartfelt tribute to her brother with an emotional performance of Carrie Underwood’s “So Small”.
See Mary Sarah’s powerful performance of “So Small” below:
The 20-year-old country songstress, reminiscent of such artists as Kellie Pickler and Carrie underwood in both looks and voice, brings to the stage of NBC’s hit show both contemporary country and pays homage to the classics of country music. Showing her versatility, she is unafraid to tackle difficult songs like “So Small” or showcase her love of the classics like for her audition with “Where The Boys Are”.
She seems to have captured the hearts of many fans of “The Voice” and continues to win more on a weekly basis, and it’s easy to see why. She’s certainly our favorite to win season 10 of “The Voice”.
According to her website, the perky and lovable singer even manages to find time between trying to launch a music career and working part time at a Boot Barn store in Nashville to serve as national ambassador for a charity called Caiden’s Hope. A charity that certainly seems to be very near and dear to her heart.
Watch the video below of Mary Sarah explaining what the charity organization, Caiden’s Hope, is all about:
