On Wednesday, September 16th, BMI hosted the #1 celebration for “Raise ‘Em Up” at The Sutler in Nashville.   The celebration started out with a quick press conference Q & A with Keith Urban, Jeffrey Steele, Tom Douglas, Jaren Johnston, and Nathan Chapman.  Followed by a fun acoustic performance of the recent hit single by all where all got a good laugh as Tom Douglas’ microphone wasn’t turned on and he had to sing one lyric out of Keith Urban’s microphone, dubbed the line of the night by Urban: “And then babies come”.  The whole audience, including all on stage, shared a good laugh.  I mean, really, of ALL lines to have to deliver walking across the stage to share the microphone. Then, the presentations of plaques and medals were given from BMI, ASCAP, and CMA as guests were able to enjoy the delicious food and signature drink for the night as watched the evening unfold.
