The critically-acclaimed music series, “Front and Center” and the Country Music Association (CMA) have announced a special taping for the CMA Songwriters Series with Steven Tyler, the iconic songwriter and prolific voice of the best-selling American rock band, Aerosmith.
Tyler, who is set to release his first-ever Country album early next year, will perform acoustically at the Melrose Ballroom in Long Island City, New York on Thursday, Sept. 10 for an exclusive “Front and Center” episode set to air in early 2016.
Joining him onstage will be hit songwriters Nuno Bettencourt, Marti Frederiksen, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Lindsey Lee, and Eric Paslay. Tyler and his guests will perform stripped down versions of songs from his upcoming Country album, including lead single “Love Is Your Name,” along with his mega-hits that have touched the lives of millions of music fans.

In advance of his taping for the “Front and Center” CMA Songwriters Series show, Tyler will be a part of a CMA Country takeover of ABC and New York City when he appears on “Good Morning America” with Kelsea Ballerini on Sept. 9 for the highly-anticipated announcement of the final nominees for “The 49th Annual CMA Awards” live from the heart of Times Square.
Tyler and Ballerini, will announce the final nominees in five categories live in the 8:30AM/ET half-hour segment. In addition to announcing the finalists, Tyler will perform “Love is Your Name.” Following the announcements on “Good Morning America,” Ballerini and Tyler will announce the remaining finalists at approximately 9:10 AM/ET on GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo. After the announcement of the final nominees, Tyler will visit the set of nationally-syndicated “Live with Kelly and Michael” to talk about his Country project and the newly-announced nominees.
