The Doobie Brothers performed with Jerrod Niemann at The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel Saturday, May 9th. The Sony Music Nashville label-mates recently collaborated on The Doobie Brothers latest album, Southbound, out November 4th. Patrick Simmons and Niemann traded vocals on the 1975 classic “South City Midnight Lady” with Niemann also lending vocals on “Black Water”.
With over 50 shows scheduled through September, The Doobie Brothers are ramping up for their summer tour. Highlights include The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles June 6, Sigmund Stern Grove Festival in San Francisco June 14, and Laid Back Festival in Long Beach Island August 29.
