Average Joes’ recording artist, Sarah Ross, has been selected for CMT’s “New Artist Discovery” campaign. Ross’ new video, “You’re No Good,” will be launching in this week’s new rotation of CMT Artist Discovery videos on CMT Pure Country and CMT digital outlets. Simultaneously, Sirius/XM has added “You’re No Good,” to The Highway’s popular “On The Horizon” playlist.
Written by Clint Ballard, Jr., Linda Ronstadt’s version of “You’re No Good,” hit #1 on theBillboard chart in 1975. A talented songwriter and singer, Ross was an early contestant on Season 12 of American Idol. Ross has been in the studio recording her new EP scheduled for release this Spring.
“Having both Sirius/XM and CMT embrace my music is very exciting,” said Ross. “I’m proud to be one of the new women in country music today being introduced to country music fans.”
