Colt Ford’s Single, “Drivin’ Around Song,” Hits Gold Mark

Average Joes Entertainment is celebrating a major milestone with the announcement that Colt Ford’s single, “Drivin’ Around Song,” f/Jason Aldean, has been certified Gold by the RIAA. A significant achievement for any record label, especially one that is wholly independent, “Drivin’ Around Song” is featured on Ford’s #1 Billboard album, “Declaration Of Independence,” released in August 2012.

“So many people were instrumental in the success of this record,” commented Ford. “I want to specifically thank John Marks at The Highway for leading the way, as well as all the FM and AM stations across the country who played it, Jason Aldean for lending his brilliant vocals to the song, and Craig Wiseman, Chris Tompkins and Rodney Clawson for writing a big ole’ hit!”

In addition, Ford’s first album, “Ride Through The Country,” has sold an aggregate of 1 million tracks since its release six years ago.
