MCA Recording artist David Nail’s “Whatever She’s Got” sits at the No. 1 position today on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase Country charts. The No. 1 hit and RIAA certified GOLD single is the first song from the GRAMMY nominated artist’s forthcoming third album, I’m A Fire, set to be released on March 4. Nail chose to record the Jimmy Robbins and Jon Nite penned song for his wife Catherine admitting “I still to this day don’t know what she has, but I know that I like it….whatever it is.”
Commenting on “Whatever She’s Got” topping the charts, Nail says “Thank you to my friends at country radio who have been beyond wonderful and supporting through this journey of mine both on and off stage,” adding “This has made all my previous singles more sweeter to look back on and appreciate their purpose.”
Last week Nail announced that he will be hitting the road this spring in support of I’m A Fire with headlining dates starting March 21 in Medina, OH. In addition to his own tour around I’m A Fire, Nail is touring with Darius Rucker on the True Believers Tour and select dates with Lady Antebellum on their Take Me Downtown Tour.
