Trace Adkins Checks Into Rehab Again After Incident Onboard Country Cruise

Trace AdkinsCountry artist Trace Adkins has checked himself into rehab earlier this week after an incident onboard a recent country cruise involving a Trace Adkins impersonator where the singer reportedly was involved in a fight with the impersonator.   TMZ reports that Adkins fought with the impersonator who was singing karaoke onboard the country cruise.  After the fight got physical, when the ship stopped in Jamaica, Adkins got off of the ship.

It was his first drink in over a decade according to tasteofcountry.com.

Adkins made his first rehab visit & completed a 28-day alcohol rehabilitation program at Cumberland Heights Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center near Nashville after he pleaded guilty to DUI charges.

The singer was scheduled to headline Country Cruising beginning Sunday (Jan. 12th).  The cruise included Montgomery Gentry, Wynonna Judd, Neal McCoy, & Craig Morgan with stops in Cozumel, Jamaica, & the Grand Cayman Islands.  All of the performances by Adkins on the ship were canceled.  No details on what treatment facility the singer entered or how long he will be staying, according to: NashvilleCountryClub.com

We wish Trace Adkins the best as he recovers.  At least, he’s taken the responsible route by checking himself in for treatment.  Wishing the talented artist a quick and successful recovery.
