Country sensation The Band Perry is slated to appear on Travel Channel’s “Extreme RVs” on Sunday, November 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In the season opener, this all-new episode gives viewers a look at the sibling trio’s one-of-a-kind tour bus…complete with a rolling mobile studio!
For decades, the Hemphill Brothers have been building custom coaches. The family met with Trent and Joey Hemphill at their facility just outside of Nashville for the unique experience, where The Band Perry helped design their new custom ride.
“We love our new bus! It’s our home away from home. Our friends at Hemphill Brothers were so wonderful to work with,” said Kimberly Perry.
“Having our custom tour bus makes life on the road a lot better,” added Reid Perry.
“The ability to write songs and demo them just got easier with the mobile studio,” said Neil Perry.
“Extreme RVs” features rolling mega homes with incredible-themed designs and luxurious interiors that put most real homes to shame. Some are cutting-edge futuristic designs. Others are multi-million dollar restorations of vintage and classic RVs with incredible old-world craftsmanship. Still others are just plain extreme! There are a handful of designers and craftsmen around the U.S. responsible for these unique machines – big, small or crazy. From design drawings and computer renderings to fabrication and interior build outs, Travel Channel viewers will follow every piece of metal cut, every bolt turned and every gallon of paint sprayed as these outrageous rolling mansions, vintage restorations and crazy camping vehicles come to life. As with every custom vehicle build, the drama will be in keeping the budget in line and finishing the project on time. And viewers will be right in the middle of each stressful moment with the builders as they race to the finish line!
The Band Perry’s new single, “Better Dig Two,” is already making a big impact. Check it out now on iTunes.
