Personalized jewelry, yummy cocktails, country artist Cam and fashion designer Kendra Scott — these are the makings of an amazing Grand Opening celebration! The 28th Kendra Scott store launched in the Green Hills area of Nashville this spring, so naturally an exclusive party was in order. The best part about it? While guests mingled and shopped, a portion of the proceeds went to the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Lifting Live Charity to improve lives through the power of music.
The Kendra Scott store features a Jewelry Bar where guests can choose from a variety of settings and jewels to create personalized pieces. I walked away with two beautiful new necklaces and a keen eye for the brand. Now I can’t help but talk to fellow Nashvillians wearing Kendra Scott jewels!
The sale of select pieces benefits causes dear to Kendra’s heart. The Lolley charm contributes to breast cancer research and is named after two of her close friends who have fought the disease. There is also a charm to benefit MD Anderson research and one named after a special friend of Kendra’s who has Down syndrome.
The store hosts Kendra Gives Back parties each week to benefit various local and national organizations. Kendra’s founding philosophies “Family, Fashion & Philanthropy” fit into Nashville’s volunteer mindset perfectly.
