On February 8th, the stars were out in Nashville to pay tribute to country star Randy Travis in downtown Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena.
Garth Brooks, Chris Young, Charles Esten, William Michael Morgan, Josh Turner, Chris Janson, Scotty McCreery, Tanya Tucker, Montgomery Gentry, Kenny Rogers, Alabama, Wynonna Judd, and many others were on hand to pay tribute to this amazing artist and help raise funds for the Randy Travis Foundation honoring the incredible career of Randy Travis.
Nashville Mayor Megan Berry made a special appearance that night announcing the day as Randy Travis Day in the city of Nashville.
Randy Travis and his wife, Mary, were on stage all night watching each artist pay tribute to Travis performing the songs he made famous throughout his esteemed career.
My favorite moments were Chris Janson received a standing ovation for his performance that he chose to do with just him and his guitar. Then, the finale at the end where Randy Travis was joining by everyone coming together to sing “Amazing Grace” and “Will The Circle Be Unbroken”.
It was a very special evening that I won’t soon forget and hope that Randy Travis felt the amazing love that was pouring out to him that night.
