After 2 days of searching, the body of Jerry Greer (19), son of country music entertainer Craig Morgan and wife Karen Greer, has been found in Kentucky Lake.
The Humphreys County (TN) Sheriff’s Department recovered his body Monday evening after a search that began Sunday following a boating accident on Kentucky Lake in Tennessee. Greer was tubing with friends when he went missing after his tube overturned and he did not come up despite wearing a floatation device.
A 2016 graduate of Dickson County High School, Jerry planned to play football for Marshall University in the fall.
The family is grateful for the outpouring of support and requests prayers at this time as they privately mourn this terrible loss. Jerry is survived by parents Craig and Karen Greer, sister Aly Beaird and brother-in-law Ryan Beaird, brother Kyle Greer and fiancé Chelsea Rogers and brother Wyatt Greer.
Our deepest condolences go out to the entire family at this difficult time.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
Depends on the size of your boat. I have a 150HP so for me, it doesn’t matter. They will all go fast. I had once a 20HP on a 16 foot aluminum and it could get a round one up with a 160 pound person, but not a 200 pound person. Never tried the triangle ones but i suspect it wouldn’t make a difference. In the end, its all up to your boat. If you want a sure thing, Get something more bullet shaped that you sit on high in the water. I had one called a ski bob, don’t know if they still make them, but they pretty much don’t need to break water, they sit pretty high up.
You and your family have been in our prayers for a long time!
My nephew has a rare brain cancer and I’m doing a cancer research fun raiser Aug 20 at Texas Troubadour theater and would love for Craig Morgan to make an appearance and sing a song or 2
How can I make this happen?
