With a line of people stretched from one end of Music Row beginning at BMI to nearly the end of it, you knew something big was about to take place in Nashville!
On August 18th, Florida native and charismatic country singer Jake Owen made a repeat visit a year later to celebrate his hit single in the BMI backlot with a free concert for friends and fans in Nashville. Threatening weather cleared and made way for a fun-filled night of beach balls, great music, and a massive crowd anxious to see what Jake Owen’s Beach Party would entail.
Joining him as opening acts for the evening were Old Dominion and The Cadillac Three bringing their southern rock-flavored brand of country to the party.
As Owen took the stage, the huge crowd had built to a frenzy in anticipation. He did not disappoint! Entertaining the crowd with his perfect mix between high-energy performing crossed with a beachy, laid back presence, he was soon joined onstage by one special guest after another, including: Dan + Shay, Lee Brice, Sonia Leigh, T.J. Osborne of the duo Brothers Osborne, and pop/R&B producer Mike Posner.
Thanks for bringing a bit of the beach to Nashville, Jake!
Jake Owen has been on a great streak and it’s been quite a year for him as he embarked on his first headlining tour with ‘Days Of Gold’ beginning this past spring. He continues to release hit after hit to radio and, most recently, he charmed the audience with his hosting skills at the 8th Annual ACM Honors at Ryman Auditorium this past Tuesday. Seems there is no slowing down for this talented artist!
