“It’s gonna take a second for this to sink in,” Ray admitted shortly after the nominations were announced. “I grew up watching the ACM Awards year after year. I took notes in a notebook and kept track of the nominations and winners.”

To celebrate this latest career milestone, Ray set off on his much-anticipated Nineteen Tour on Feb. 21 in Washington, D.C., taking the devoted crowd through a journey of his career thus far through hits like “Kiss You in the Morning,” “Think a Little Less,” “Get To You” and the addictive chart-rising smash “One That Got Away.”

About Michael Ray
Country singer-songwriter Michael Ray was a hit right out of the box, scoring both with critics and on the charts. With Country Aircheck boasting there are “big things on the horizon for Michael Ray” and his live shows lauded by USA Today as simply “lip-smacking good,” the Florida native backed up that praise with two number ones from his 2015 self-titled debut album with “Kiss You in the Morning” and “Think a Little Less.”  His sophomore album, Amos, which debuted in the Top 3 on the Billboard Country Charts upon release has already spawned the hit “Get to You” and Top 15-and-climbing single “One That Got Away,” which All Access declared “an undeniable crowd pleaser.” Michael Ray, nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at the upcoming ACM Awards, is currently headlining select dates before taking his music across the globe to play at CMC Rocks 2019 in Australia. Brothers Osborne Finish A Multi-Night Run At Ryman With Sold Out Show

This past Saturday, February 16th, the hit country duo, Brothers Osborne, played the last of a short run of shows around the country, which included multiple nights at the historic Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville.

Brothers John and TJ Osborne played their hearts out to a sold out crowd that came to their feet the moment they took the stage following an incredible 30-minute, rousing, energetic performance by opening act, The Wild Feathers, who were the perfect compliment to Brothers Osborne.  The audience continued to stand, sing along, and cheer on the brothers the entire time.  You could just feel a special energy the entire night from the crowd, which I’m sure added to the performance and really energized the brothers.

The musicianship, family harmonies, and pure charisma Brothers Osborne bring to the stage is second to none.  They are seasoned musicians well beyond their years, and it is easy to see why they continue to be nominated for and win awards.

Originally from Deale, Maryland, the hit making duo that has brought us hits like “Stay a Little Longer” and “Rum” honed their craft from an early age at their family home with all-night jam sessions that included songs from Bob Seger, Hank Williams, Tom Petty and George Jones.

The brothers have come a long way from those all-night jam sessions of cover songs to playing sold out shows across the U.S. with their own growing catalog of songs.  They have already amassed a huge following with a few national tours under their belt and they show no signs of stopping.

The reigning ACM and CMA Vocal Duo of the Year continues on their headlining world tour.  Be sure to catch this extremely-talented duo when they come to a city near you, and pick up or download their newest album, “Port Saint Joe”.  Also, watch their brand new video just released last week for their nostalgic current single “I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)” , see it HERE.

You can find them on all social media under their name.  For more information and upcoming tour dates, go to: www.brothersosborne.com

“The high-energy five-piece band” (Rolling Stone) has rapidly created a loyal fanbase over the past five years with more than 400 shows as the featured act with sold-out club runs in major markets such as New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles. After finishing up the 2018 MOUNTAIN HIGH TOUR with superstar Dierks Bentley, the band will close out 2018 during the first leg of the HALLELUJAH NIGHTS TOUR launching in Columbia, MO at The Blue Note on Oct. 24 with Travis Denning.

The “arena-rock leaning band” (Entertainment Weekly) is “at the top of their game” (Pitchfork) as they continue “dominating Country radio” (Billboard) by revealing another piece of their story with their Top 20 single “Born To Love You.”  Their 2X Platinum, multi-week No. 1 hit “Greatest Love Story” paved the course for acclaim with lead singer Brandon Lancaster becoming the first artist in 10 years to have a No. 1 on the chart solely written by that artist. LANCO earned recognition as the first Country group to debut on the Billboard Country albums chart in a decade with their coming-of-age album HALLELUJAH NIGHTS . As the record now boasts over 423 million streams it proves why this year’s two-time ACM and CMT nominated group is the only Country band to achieve a Platinum single prior to a debut album release. Lynyrd Skynyrd Rock Hometown Stadium Show In Jacksonville, Florida

(L to R): Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Mark ‘Sparky’ Martejka (guitar), Rickey Medlocke (guitar), Gary Rossington (guitar) and Keith Christopher (bass guitar) Photo Credit: Rick Diamond

Southern Rock icons Lynyrd Skynyrd wrapped the first leg of their two-year Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour Sunday night with a packed homecoming stadium show presented by The NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s were joined by friends Jason Aldean, Kid Rock, The Charlie Daniels Band, Blackberry Smoke and the Marshall Tucker Band at Jacksonville’s TIAA Bank Field, home of the Jaguars.

“There are a lot of people who thought this was going to be our last show, forever, here in Jacksonville,” lead singer Johnny Van Zant told the Times-Union. “That’s not true. We still have places that we need to do.” Added Rickey Medlocke, “We’ve got fans all over the world…You can’t just say we’re only going to do the United States and then shut it down. Those people would be so upset.”

No one left TIAA Bank Field upset — even after a weather delay in the middle of Kid Rock’s set — as Skynyrd’s 90+ minute show featuring classic hits such as “Simple Man,” “Gimme Three Steps,” and “What’s Your Name,” as well as deep cuts such as “The Ballad of Curtis Lowe” kept fans on their feet the entire show. The evening included a moving tribute of “Sweet Home Alabama” to the song’s co-writer and original Skynyrd band member Ed King. The show’s finale ended with a stadium-sized sing-along of “Free Bird.” The evening left no doubt why Rolling Stone magazine calls them one of the 100 Greatest Bands of All Time. The unforgettable homecoming was filmed for future release. Details will be announced soon.

Earlier this year Skynyrd announced that after a career that has spanned more than 40 years and includes a catalog of more than 60 albums with more than 30 million units sold, they would embark on their final tour. Produced by Live Nation, the career-concluding two-year farewell tour will have logged over 50 stops by the end of 2018.

The band returns to the road for the second leg of 2018 dates on Saturday, Sept. 22 for this year’s two-day iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. The band are part of a star-studded lineup at T-Mobile Arena that includes Justin Timberlake, Jack White, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Jason Aldean, Sam Smith, Luke Bryan and more. Fans can visit iHeartRadio.com/Tickets to purchase tickets. For those unable to attend, the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival will be broadcast live on iHeartMedia Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR) stations across the country that weekend including the iconic Z100 in New York, KIIS-FM in Los Angeles, Y100 in Miami, KISS FM in Dallas, Chicago and Boston, as well as many more. The CW Network will exclusively live stream the mega-concert via CWTV.com and The CW App and broadcast the two-day, televised special on October 7 and October 8.

The tour derives its name from the band’s “The Last of the Street Survivors” and their fifth studio album Street Survivors that is certified multi-Platinum by the RIAA and includes the Platinum-certified single, “What’s Your Name.”

The Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour marks a big moment for generations of fans, as Lynyrd Skynyrd has been touring consistently since the 90s. The band, that USA Today called the “whiskey-soaked genre’s most popular and influential crew,” is ready to rock one last time. The farewell tour will take original member Gary Rossington joined by Van Zant, Medlocke, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Dale Krantz Rossington, Carol Chase and special guest Jim Horn across the country over the next two years.

Tickets for the second leg of 2018 shows are sale now at LiveNation.com. The farewell tour will continue to take the band across the country through the remainder of this year and all of next year, giving fans one last unforgettable night of classic American Rock-and-Roll. Skynyrd’s 2019 tour dates including stops in Europe and South America will be announced soon.

About Lynyrd Skynyrd
Original members Ronnie Van Zant, Bob Burns, Allen Collins, Gary Rossington, and Larry Junstrom formed the band in 1964, originally known as My Backyard, the band changed to its famous name in the early 1970s, and became popular in the Jacksonville, Florida area, where the original members were from. They signed with Sounds of the South Records in 1972, and released their self-titled disc the following year. The album that featured “Free Bird,” arguably the most-recognized single in the Southern Rock genre, has sold more than 2 million units since its release. Later down the road the band recorded iconic tracks “Sweet Home Alabama” and “What’s Your Name.”

The band’s story took a tragic turn in October 1977 when a plane crash took the lives of Van Zant, Steve Gaines, backup singer Cassie Gaines, and several of their road crew. The band took a decade-long hiatus before reuniting for a tour and live album, Southern by the Grace of God. Since then, the band has toured and recorded extensively, with their most recent release being Last Of A Dyin’ Breed. The band’s current line-up includes original member Rossington, Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Dale Krantz Rossington and Carol Chase. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.

Named as the only Country act on Billboard’s Top 10 New Artists, Young continues to impress the genre and beyond with nominations from the ACM, Billboard, Teen Choice, CMT and CMA Awards. Raised in Yuba City, a small farming community in Northern California, Tyler Rich found his love of music gathered around a Christmas tree alongside family singing holiday classics and Creedence Clearwater Revival before being introduced to the Country sounds of George Strait, Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson. Fast forward to earning a degree in Economics, Tyler moved pursued a different game of numbers – music – exploring various genres with songwriting and bands before taking the leap as a solo artist signed with The Valory Music Co. While introducing his amplified sound and infectious energy coast to coast, the 2018 CMT Listen Up Artist has become a road warrior performing alongside Dustin Lynch, Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Justin Moore, Cole Swindell, Dan + Shay. For additional tour dates and more, visit TylerRich.com.

Rachel Wammack, a 24-year old native from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, describes her sound as the trifecta of Country, Soul and Adult Pop. Being influenced heavily from the rich music history of her hometown, Rachel had no choice but to be shaped and sharpened by the artistic gusto that comes when those sounds merge. Rachel honed her craft not only as vocalist, but as a songwriter. At the age of 12, Rachel wrote her first song. Throughout the following adolescent years, Rachel expressed her art in her songwriting, storytelling, playing in the High school band, and pursuing a degree in professional writing. At the age of 17 she was discovered by a Sony Music Nashville executive while Rachel was performing at a fine cuisine, piano restaurant in Muscle Shoals. Five years and many written songs later, Rachel would receive a record deal from Sony Music Nashville. In April 2018 Rachel released her self-titled, four song EP via the RCA Records Nashville imprint, giving her ever growing fan base a taste of the music that’s still to come. Wammack’s EP, which includes her newly-released debut single “Damage,” proves that the young singer/songwriter is standing at the starting line of what promises to be an exciting, self-fulfilling and stunning career. Shania Twain Wows Capacity Crowd At Bridgestone Arena

A week ago today, July 21st, I had the pleasure of seeing the fabulous Shania Twain play to a capacity crowd at Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville for her NOW tour.

The 52-year-old Canadian superstar hasn’t missed a beat and shines just as brightly as she ever did in her prime.

Twain is strong and determined, as she was able to overcome difficult personal struggles between the demise of her first marriage and problems with her voice due to lyme disease.  The result is a more mature and resilient woman determined to create a better future after experiencing such hardship.  However, Shania grew up under very humble circumstances, so she knows how to survive any difficulty while coming out of it even stronger.

During the concert when she would speak of a personal song she wrote from her most recent album, NOW, you could not help but hear the emotion in her voice and knew this was all coming from the heart.

As she made her assent to the main stage to begin her concert, the excitement of the crowd was palpable as she walked through the crowd greeting fans with security around her while her drummer stood on the small second stage playing drums to build the excitement in the arena.

When she finally got on the stage, she asked the crowd if they were ready to which she got a deafening, excited response from the enthusiastic crowd.  The curtain pulled back and the stage lit up revealing background singers and dancers.  The opening song was an upbeat tune that I wasn’t familiar with.

The stage was beautiful and changed up throughout the night.  Twain sang hit after hit of her huge catolog with a few of her new songs off the most recent album to an adoring crowd that sang along with her to familiar hits and stood the whole time.

My personal favorites of the night were: “Any Man Of Mine”, “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under”, “Up”, “Don’t Be Stupid”, and “That Don’t Impress Me Much”.

Instagram will load in the frontend.

Shania looked as beautiful as ever and there were several outfit changes thoughout the night with many flowing dresses.  She kept the energy going and it was a wonderful concert overall as she seemed to be thoroughly-enjoying herself.  The only thing I would change is the opening song to one of her familiar huge hits that the crowd knew.  The opening song was upbeat, which is always a good way to start, but I think it would be an even more effective opening to lead with something very familiar since when she did perform a hit, the energy in the room shot up even more.  I just thought a little of the energy was lost by not starting with one of her huge hits, but that is just my opinion.  The whole production was wonderful, and so happy that Shania Twain is back after taking a long break.

Sugarland’s New Album & Tour Launch To Stellar Reviews

‘STILL THE SAME’ 2018 Tour Kicks Off To Stellar Reviews
“Sugarland has found a way to stay in touch, with their audience and the broader world, by enlarging their scope on Bigger, and that’s no small feat.” – NPR Music

“Few artists can meld the joyful and the thoughtful as exuberantly as the country-pop duo do on their sixth studio album.”
Entertainment Weekly

“The duo is very much still the same. Its chemistry is there. Their trust in each other is intact. Their creative vision is in lockstep.” – The Tennessean

“Sugarland haven’t missed a step. Bigger is, as the name suggests, an extrapolation of everything that made the celebrated pop country duo one of the biggest acts of the 2000s.” – Wide Open Country

GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar duo SUGARLAND are celebrating the release of their critically acclaimed sixth studio record BIGGER, which arrived on June 8 via a joint venture with Big Machine Records and UMG Nashville. The duo recently appeared on the TODAY Show on NBC to perform a captivating rendition of “Babe”, their newest single from the album. The track was written by Taylor Swift and is currently in the Top 30 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart and at Country radio. Watch the performance HERE now.

Returning from a hiatus that saw both Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush release highly praised solo albums, BIGGER marks Sugarland’s first new album in eight years. Bush and Nettles co-wrote nearly all of the songs on the album, and have so far been drawing praise across the board from critics and fans alike. BIGGER is now available digitally and physically HERE.

BIGGER embodies the musical spirit that fans have come to expect from Sugarland, combining upbeat tracks with powerful message songs that address specific issues facing the world today and spark conversations for tomorrow. “Our hopefulness and our sparkiness and our joy are things I think we do uniquely well, especially in the country format,” says Jennifer of the set’s sunnier material. “We offer that in a unique way.” Bush added, “My daughter is turning 13. I wondered if there was a way to help her through the world she’s growing up in. There are songs on this album that are inspired by the idea of that conversation, and I hope they will speak to people of all ages, no matter who they are or what they’re facing in life.”

Sugarland also just wrapped a successful first leg of tour dates on their STILL THE SAME 2018 TOUR. The headline run kicked off in their home state of Georgia on May 25 and will crisscross its way through 49 cities in North America this summer. Brandy Clark and Clare Bowen will provide support through July 14, while Frankie Ballard and Lindsay Ell will join the lineup from July 19 through September 9. For tickets and a full list of dates, please see below or visit HERE. Reviews and reactions from the first few dates have already been glowing:

“[Sugarland] have always had an undeniable chemistry on stage and they’ve successfully recaptured that for their comeback Still The Same Tour…They’re not just up there performing, they actually look like they’re having the best time.” – The OC Register

“[A] bright, playful show” – Atlanta Journal Constitution

“No matter how much time has passed, the pair can, clearly, pick back up right where they left off.” – The Spokesman Review

Since the band’s inception in 2002, Sugarland has sold nearly 10 million albums domestically, earned seven No. 1 singles to date and amassed more than 330 million on-demand streams, making Sugarland one of the most popular Country music duos of all time.

Video Premiere: Keith Urban Set To Debut GRAFFITI U World Tour

Tour buses and GRAFFITI U wrapped trailers, twenty-two in all, and a crew of ninety-three rolled into St. Louis Thursday for the launch of Keith Urban’s “GRAFFITI U World Tour 2018,” which opened Friday night at The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis.  It marks is first world tour in more than two years.

Marred by thunderstorms and a power outage that caused delays and minor equipment damage, Urban’s band finally took to the stage late Thursday night for their final run through.   The show promises brand new performances of songs never performed live, twists on some of his best-known and most loved #1 hits and a production spectacle to marvel.

The 58-city North American leg of his “GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR 2018,” promises to bring more of Urban’s unpredictable stage moments which have seen him in the audience

Multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Kip Moore has kicked off the year with an international bang, wrapping the final of two sold-out stints in Canada last night in Winnipeg, CA (5/17), following a stacked last few months that has seen Moore play to unrelenting crowds across the world. Building a global audience from the ground up, the beginning of 2018 has also seen Moore undertake the first of two capacity-house headlining runs in Canada, as well as a highly-anticipated return to Europe, with Moore “gathering more fans and selling more albums” (Billboard,) and critics declaring Moore is “without a doubt a headliner” (Building Our Own Nashville). Ahead of his second headlining stint in Canada this week, which saw Moore play to six additional full houses, he also recently wrapped a five-show, sold-out run across Australia to thunderous applause.

Kip Moore recently released the “equal parts powerful, heartwarming and tear-jerking” (Entertainment Tonight) new music video for his new single “Last Shot.” The track is the second taken from his revered third studio album SLOWHEART and follows his fourth No. One hit “More Girls Like You.” “SLOWHEART,” is continuing to garner praise by critics across the country as Moore “blends the passion and connection for which he’s known with a new self-awareness that will speak to both commercial and underground audiences” (USA Today) as well as wrapping 2017 on multiple “Best Of” lists including Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, UpRoxx, Bobby Bones Show, Taste Of Country, Sounds Like Nashville, The Boot, PopMatters and Whiskey Riff. SLOWHEART follows the acclaim that surrounded Moore’s sophomore album WILD ONES heralded as “an impressively singular release from Music Row” by The Guardian and his PLATINUM debut album UP ALL NIGHT that spawned three No. One hit singles. LANY Announce North American Headline Tour

Following a massive 2017, playing 135+ live shows across 28 countries, LANY announces new fan-demanded tour dates. The group will embark on another headline tour this spring, hitting 9 cities across the United States. In celebration of their upcoming festival appearances, the group will hold their own “mini-festival” in between Coachella weekends at the 6,500 capacity amphitheater, Great Saltair in Salt Lake City, UT on April 18th. The news follows their previously announced international dates in Russia, Australia and Asia, including their first-ever arena show in Manila, which sold out in less than 24 hours, prompting the group to add an additional date – which has also sold out. Their new North American dates are supplemented by a round of appearances across the U.S. festival circuit this summer, including sets at Coachella, BottleRock, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Bunbury and more. See below for full tour itinerary. Tickets for the tour are available to the general public today, Friday, February 9th at 10am local time.  Fans can check http://thisislany.com/tour for more details.

ABOUT LANY
LANY (pronounced “Lay-nee”), the Los Angeles-based trio comprised of Paul Jason Klein, Les Priest & Jake Goss, crafts dreamy pop with an R&B spirit.  Releasing their first set of songs in 2014 with no social following, fans, or even photos, their take on modern alternative music immediately caught the attention of audiences, and within weeks their play counts were leaping exponentially.

Flash-forward to the summer of 2017 and the band’s debut album, LANY, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart, with singles “ILYSB” and “Super Far” reaching nearly 100 million streams each.  In 2017 alone, the group racked up nearly 300 million streams on Spotify and played more than 135 live shows across 28 countries.

The band has thrived within the harsh parameters of their barebones musical setup: a copy of pretty much defunct production software on a worn old Dell computer, bolstered by drum and synth apps on their iPhones.  Their music reflects the spontaneity and impulsiveness of the love stories bursting out of every song without losing focus of a cohesive concept threaded through the entire record.

The group has a huge 2018 ahead of them as they continue to tour prolifically. They are set to embark on a European headline and festival tour in the spring, and play their first-ever arena show in Manila, which sold out in less than 24 hours, prompting the addition of a second date – which also sold out. They will also hit the U.S. festival circuit this summer with sets at Coachella, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo and more to be announced, on top of headline shows across North America. They are currently in the studio working on new music.
