Average Joes’ recording artists, The LACS, have teamed with 18-month touring mates, Hard Target, to form a new band, Racket County, to be distributed by Average Joes Entertainment under The LACS’ newly formed Barn Burner Records imprint. After winning for four consecutive weeks on The Boot’s fan-voted “Video Shootout,” The LACS’ new video, “Nothing in Particular,” has been inducted into The Boot’s “Video Shootout Hall of Fame.” The duo is currently winding down 2014 on the last leg of their national tour.

Fueled by fan demand for new music, country chart-toppers, The LACS, are set to release their new 4-song EP, “Smoke Stack,” on April 15 on iTunes via Average Joes Entertainment. “Smoke Stack,” available for download at iTunes, is the first new music to come from the highly successful duo since the release of their #3 Billboard Country Album last year, “Keep It Redneck.” The video for the EP title track, “Smoke Stack,” will be released in the coming weeks. CMT and Average Joes Entertainment invite fans to party with Colt Ford and friends live from Center Stage in downtown Nashville from 10:30-12:00 midnight CT, Thursday, February 28, 2013, at an exclusive 90-minute live stream event at www.coltpartylive.cmt.com, CMT’s official Facebook page or CMT.com via mobile devices. The event, taking place during Nashville’s annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS), is emceed by CMT’s SVP of Music Strategy Leslie Fram and will feature exclusive performances by Montgomery Gentry, Colt Ford, JB and the Moonshine Band, The LACS, JJ Lawhorn, LoCash Cowboys and Colt Ford. The FREE, 21+ event is open to the public for the first 250 people and all CRS attendees.
