Riders & horses from Cavalia Odysseo in the warm up area.
Cavalia Odysseo recently offered a special sensory experience and tour for children from the Tennessee School for the Blind. Since they rely heavily on their other senses, this allowed them to experience this incredible production, too.
It was very heartwarming to be there able to watch this, and it’s something I will probably never forget. I’m glad the production is so kind as to do something special for these children who are faced with such a difficult challenge.
The children were allowed to pet some horses, felt & smelled the food as feed to horses, felt & sat in a saddle, played drums with the percussionists/tumblers, and stood in the middle of the warm up area with the horses & riders circling us until got to full gallop to feel the vibration.
The experience ended in the VIP area with the Cavalia staff handing out stuffed horses for each child, 4 tickets for each child to enjoy the show with family, and cookies to enjoy.
Cavalia Odysseo is only in town until October 22nd. You don’t want to miss this incredible production. Go to www.cavalia.com and get your tickets before all gone!
