EMI Nashville’s Brothers Osborne releases “Shoot Me Straight” as the first track off their highly-anticipated sophomore album today, listen HERE. The two-time CMA “Vocal Duo of the Year” again teamed up with producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town) for the new album set to release later this year. Recorded at Jay’s house in a remote part of the Florida coast, Brothers Osborne again delivers a tune highlighting why “they won over Nashville critics with a distinctive sound combining classic country and hints of soul, with songs centered on John’s impressive guitar skills and TJ’s rich baritone” (The Washington Post).
“Brothers Osborne has the coolest, sexiest song of the year.”
– Phathead, JVC Broadcasting
“In typical Brothers’ fashion, it stands out for its combination of gritty guitar and vocals and that ever-present bass drum beat that hits you right in the gut. It answers the demand for an up-tempo winter title from a duo with a proven fan base.”
– JC Coffey, PD WTHT
John and TJ Osborne cowrote the tune with Lee Thomas Miller. To view in-studio video footage of an edited version of “Shoot Me Straight” click HERE.
Brothers Osborne recently received their third GRAMMY nomination in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for their Top 10 rowdy hit “It Ain’t My Fault.” This nomination joins their previously nominated performances for their No.1 Platinum smash hit “Stay A Little Longer” as well as the nostalgic “21 Summer”. All three tracks are featured on their critically-acclaimed debut album Pawn Shop which was recently certified Gold by the RIAA.
The duo is set to launch their first headlining UK tour in May 2018. Tickets and additional information can be found at www.brothersosborne.com

Curb Records announces the signing of award-winning group Little Feather, whose debut single premieres today on Huffington Post . The single “Hillbilly Love Song (Hey Y’all)” is available here. This autobiographical debut single release showcases the band’s organically-optimisitic acoustic playing, and the lead singer’s vintage-modern vocal skills. The forthcoming self-titled album will be released September 29.
The acoustic driven band is fronted by lead vocalist Liz Sharpe. Steeped in tradition, Liz is a coal miner’s daughter with a family lineage that connects the young Pikeville, Kentucky singer to award-winning traditionalist Patty Loveless and to the Queen of Country herself, Loretta Lynn.
Liz’s resumé reads like a New York Times best seller including lending harmonies for such diverse acts as Holly Williams and Michael Bolton. She penned a song titled “Float Along, Little Feather,” and upon careful listening she knew she was onto a sound that she wanted to explore deeper. She and her husband, Aaron Spraggs (drums), approached Dylan Rowe (bass player), Sam Brooker (rhythm guitar and harmony), Shannon Campbell (guitar, mandolin, banjo, harmony and Glen Campbell’s son), and Pat Boyer (guitar and slide). Thus, Little Feather was born. Take one listen to the music and you’ll hear why this new generation of rustic, heart-on-the-sleeve sound is quickly attracting the ears of many listeners.
The easy-going, fun-loving band has been blowing up social media with their innovative “Drive-Thru Concert” series on Facebook and YouTube. They literally pile into a van, order a meal, and then pick and sing their way to the drive-thru window causing impromptu reactions by employees who can’t help but start dancing and singing along with them. The videos, which have amassed nearly two million views, have gone over so well that earlier this month Little Feather enjoyed their first taste of success by winning a Silver Telly Award in the Music Video category at the 38th Annual Telly Awards that honors the best in film and video.
“Words can’t express how happy my band and I are to share our music with the world,” says Liz Sharpe. “The music has been incubating for awhile now, but Little Feather is getting ready to fly!”
Little Feather’s self-titled debut album on Curb will be released on September 29. To learn more visit Little Feather. Follow them on Instagram @littlefeatherband, Twitter @lilfeathermusic and

Asbury Park, NJ’s first ever country duo continues to build the WHArmy nationally as Gordon Brown and Reagan Richards gear up for a busy summer ahead. No Umbrella, the next single from the duo’s self-titled debut album, has officially been released to country radio today (Tuesday, April 18) and fans can download it on all digital platforms.
Once again, Williams Honor is showing the world that Asbury Park isn’t too far from Nashville. “We’re really excited about the release of this song,” says Richards. “It was a song that seemed to resonate with our fans since day one. We wrote this in Nashville right on Music Row with (Billboard hot country artist) Cyndi Thomson and we knew right away that we stumbled on something special.”
This talented duo is gearing up for exclusive private events in New Jersey for the next few months to promote No Umbrella and will be doing a media tour in Nashville the week of the release with appearances all over town. They just wrapped up their very first music video for their previous release, Send It To Me (#55 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart). This video showcases their favorite places, streets and venues on the Jersey Shore and Nashville. Shot during last year’s CMA Music Festival by Nashville’s Over The Cumberland production team, the scenes filmed along downtown Broadway showcases prominent venues like The Ryman Auditorium, Tootsie’s, and Bridgestone Arena. While in Asbury Park, the duo shot with Cinecall filmaker George McMorrow along Cookman Ave and at classic Jersey Shore venues like The Saint, McLoones on the Asbury Boardwalk, The Wonderbar, and The Stone Pony. The official video will be released next month and sneak peaks were already shown on the NJNews12 broadcast which was aired April 15th and 16th.
ABOUT WILLIAMS HONOR: Straight from Asbury Park, NJ’s legendary music scene, comes an unstoppable collision of likeminded influence, chemistry and a true love for country music. The duo consists of powerhouse singer and performer Reagan Richards and producer/multi-instrumentalist Gordon Brown. After spending years separately in Nashville and never running into each other, they both were writing, recording and touring for other projects and artists. The two met while doing a benefit for Hurricane Sandy victims in NJ and fueled by the memory of their fathers, who were both lost way too soon, Williams Honor was born the summer of 2014.
This duo wrapped up an extensive national radio tour last year, visiting close to 40 stations and performing shows in many of the cities they traveled to. They had their first live network feature interview and performance on NBC’s Today in Nashville and participated in Nashville’s Country Radio Seminar earlier this year doing endless media interviews, appearances and performances. Fueled with a passionate melodic delivery of honest lyrics, DELTA RAE debuts “A Long And Happy Life” today. The new single is available now and marks the six-piece Durham, NC-based band’s first release on Big Machine Label Group’s imprint The Valory Music Co.
Brothers Eric and Ian Hölljes penned the buoyant “A Long And Happy Life,” offering fans a soundtrack to jumpstart their summer with an earnest hope that the best seasons are still to come. The song name comes from a book of the same title written by Ian’s dear friend, the late Reynolds Price. Lyrics from three other literary works – William Styron’s Lie Down In Darkness, Pat Conroy’s The Prince of Tides and The Water Is Wide – are woven throughout as homage to the Southern storytelling they admire.
With roots firmly planted in the South, Liz Hopkins and Brittany Hölljes front the robust group with their sultry harmonies rounded out by Eric (vocals, piano) and Ian (vocals, guitar) as well as Mike McKee (drums) and Grant Emerson (bass). Delta Rae chose their moniker from a mythical story the Hölljes siblings’ mother crafted about a Southern girl of the same name who summons the Greek gods to earth. The band’s sound defies parameters – a little bit Americana and Gospel combined with equal parts Country, Rock and Bluegrass – being most influenced by their geographical location as they’ve traversed the globe and experienced life.
Since forming in 2009, Delta Rae has graced stages at esteemed festivals such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and more with their larger-than-life live show. I was lucky enough to be one of the few who got to see them perform together live for the first time in public in over a year for a secret show that they streamed live on Facebook at OZ in Nashville. It was a fantastic show that I wanted to basically go on forever! Check out the video clip below from the performance.

The new song “You Look Good” is an midtempo country song with just a touch of 70’s funk to it complete with a horn section. Just a very cool vibe, and it feels like they are having fun again after a break they took to work on some solo projects. The new album is slated to release later this year.
They also announced a new worldwide tour this year that will include Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young. Catch them on the road, it’s going to be a good one.
