VIDEO | Celebration Party For Parmalee’s #1 Hit “Carolina”

ParmaleeLast Tuesday, February 11th, FOCUS on the 615 was invited to help celebrate Parmalee’s first number one hit “Carolina” from their debut album with them at BMI in Nashville. The evening included lots of good food, drinks, and an award presentation ceremony shared.

Oh, What A Night! | Musicians Hall Of Fame Inductions & Awards

On Tuesday, January 28th, the Musicians Hall of Fame Awards inducted 12 new members at its new location inside the Municipal Auditorium in downtown Nashville.  I have to be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, because the Municipal Auditorium has certainly seen better days and well past its prime.  Now, this is coming from someone who has lived just about their whole life in Nashville.  I knew the Municipal Auditorium when it was newly-built and was THE place to go to see live music concerts in Nashville.  That was all before they built the Bridgestone Arena.   Guess I’m really showing my age here! Seriously, they really have made a beautiful, modern home for the Musicians Hall of Fame inside there.  The whole museum is really something that you want to make sure to see.  I was impressed! ASCAPThe American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) will be featured on the hit ABC television drama Nashville on Wednesday, January 22nd at 10pm ET/9pm CT. The successful series stars Connie Britton as fading country music superstar Rayna Jaymes, Hayden Panettiere as young rising country star Juliette Barnes, longtime ASCAP members Charles Esten (Deacon Claybourne) and Jonathan Jackson (Avery Barkley), Kimberly Williams-Paisley and more.
