So far of this series I did with SHeDAISY, I’d have to say this is my absolute favorite episode! I can’t help but laugh and smile every time I see it. I’m pretty sure you won’t be able to help yourself either!

Dara Maclean is a new Christian artist signed to Fervent Records. Recently, I was able to get to know a little bit more about Dara after a live performance at Warner Music’s “Pickin’ on the Patio”.
I was immediately drawn into this new album by Jason Michael Carroll called “Numbers” released exclusively at Cracker Barrel stores upon hearing the 1st few bars of the 1st track on the album, “This Is For The Lonely“. What a great voice he has! I would compare his vocals to Chris Young or even a little like Darius Rucker , who both have some of the best voices out there. I would certainly include Jason Michael Carroll on my list of the best male vocalists in the country genre.
There is a brand new single out JUST today from Plumb featuring Dan Haseltine of Jars of Clay called “Drifting“. Wow, I love this song! It’s simply beautiful and I love hearing her do a duet with Dan Haseltine of Jars of Clay. Their voices blend so perfectly together in this new song.
Rarely do I hear an album that I want to listen to each song and not skip over, at least, one or two of the songs. I mean, that’s normal. You’re just not going to love every song on an album. There’s always a weak one. Always. No matter how much you like a certain artist’s music, there’s always a weak one that you don’t like as much as the rest of the songs on the album and you skip over it. It’s only natural.

I had the opportunity in July to attend my first ever NAMM events. It actually was a very different experience for me because I’m used to covering events like CMA Music Festival that are centered around artists, whereas NAMM is about musicians and instruments. Nonetheless, it was a very interesting experience. The majority of music that I heard was all instrumental since this event is focused on the musicians.
Most people will probably recognize Jana Kramer as one of the stars on the hit CW tv drama “One Tree Hill“. Besides being a talented actress, she is, also, an incredibly gifted singer just signed to Warner Music Group this past winter. Fans of “One Tree Hill” will no doubt remember her performance she gave on the show of her song “Whiskey“.
