Kenny Chesney’s been locked down for close to two months, getting ready for his 2015 The Big Revival Tour. After walking offstage at Gillette Stadium after two sold-out nights in August 2013, he made the decision to devote his next year to making his record. But time off the road didn’t mean the eight-time Entertainer of the Year’s heart wasn’t yearning to be out there playing.

Topped by the Rolling Stones, U2 and Bruce Springsteen, the songwriter from Luttrell, Tennessee arrived at #9 on the list – in spite of taking 2010 and 2014 off the road – with 12,681,629 tickets sold.

Kenny Chesney Launches Blue Chair Bay Rum
Premium White, Coconut and Coconut Spiced Are Benchmarks For New Co.
When Kenny Chesney decided it was time to find the rum he’d always wanted to drink, he didn’t approach the various distillers who’d offered him lucrative deals to lend his name and likeness to a brand created for him. No, the man who oversees every aspect of giant stadium productions and listens to a myriad of songs beyond what he writes for his albums, decided he wanted to do it himself.
So with a handful of dedicated professionals, Chesney began thinking, then researching, then seeing if it was possible. For a young man who didn’t dream of rocking football stadiums, but for whom the University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium was holy ground, the impossible never seemed to be something you can’t do if you apply yourself.

Kicks Off 2013 Tour With 26 Song Set At Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium
They were waving pirates flags in Section 303 and 334, at the top of Raymond James Stadium when the lights came up and Kenny Chesney strode to the mic to kick off his 2013 tour in the home of the Buccaneers. For the next two-plus hours, Chesney played old songs, his brand new song and some real surprises.
“We’ve been waiting to get back out here, and it felt gooood,” Chesney said. “It was our third time coming to Tampa to kick off the tour, and there’s a reason. It’s Florida… It’s warm… It’s near the ocean… and these fans are just off the chain.”
They passed license plates that said “No Shoes” and “Nation,” high school yearbooks and oversized pirate flags to the stage. They sang along to “You & Tequila,” “Everybody Wants To Go Heaven,” “Anything But Mine” and “Out Last Night.” They got to see Kacey Musgraves duet with Chesney on the #1 “Come Over.” They were thrilled to hear No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem’s “On The Coast of Somewhere Beautiful” and an all-alone moment for the intimate “Old Blue Chair.”
