WSM’s guest on this week’s ASCAP Songwriters’ Show will be “The fifth Eagle”, JD Souther. JD co-wrote some of the biggest songs of the Eagles’ illustrious career including; “Heartache Tonight”, “Victim of Love”, “New Kid in Town” and “Best of My Love”. He also co-wrote “The Heart of the Matter” for Don Henley and other hits for Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, Big Kenny, Glen Campbell and more.
JD currently stars as producer Watty White on ABC’s “Nashville” and is nominated to the 2013 class for the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.
