Darius Rucker Enlists Special Guests For His ‘Wagon Wheel’ Video

Capitol Records Nashville’s Darius Rucker has been shooting his latest music video for his new single “Wagon Wheel” in Nashville, TN this week. The video directed by Jim Wright features several guest appearances including Jase, Korie, Sadie, Si and Willie Robertson from A&E’s Duck Dynasty and Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum who along with Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott sing background vocals on the single.

“My wife came up with the idea to have the Duck Dynasty (DD) guys in the “Wagon Wheel” music video, and I thought we had no chance because they’re so busy so I never even said it out loud,” explains Rucker. “Thank God she called my manager because the DD folks took this video to a whole new level! Big thanks to them and Charles… It was a good time for sure, and I can’t wait to see how the video turns out!”

Country Radio Seminar 2013: Celebrities, Surprises and Stars of Tomorrow

Country Radio Seminar wrapped up last week to record attendance, bright new stars, and performances by the biggest names in country music. The three-day event overtook the Nashville Convention Center as thousands poured in for the annual meeting.

The 21st Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival Presented by Regions Bank is just a month away, and the popular Fast Access Passes went on sale today, March 5, 2013. The limited number of passes always sells out quickly, and fans are encouraged to reserve theirs now by visiting http://tinpansouth.com/2013/tickets.html.

Fast Access Passes for Tin Pan South, which is set for Tuesday, April 2 – Saturday, April 6 at nine Nashville venues, allow patrons to bypass the cover charge at the door. Pass holders are allowed advance seating (room permitting) over those purchasing tickets at the door. Passes may be picked up at the NSAI office, 1710 Roy Acuff Place, Nashville, TN 37203, beginning Tuesday, March 26. Beginning today, E! News will reveal sneak peeks from the shoot before the video makes its world premiere on the show this Wed., March 6th at 7:00 ET/PT. The video will post immediately following the premiere on Eonline.com and be exclusive to E! for 24-hours.

Hot Country duo Florida Georgia Line have premiered their brand new video for “Get Your Shine On” today!

The exclusive VEVO debut was directed by Declan Whitebloom and shot on the white sandy beaches of Cancun, Mexico and features exciting scenes from the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun property. From dawn until dusk every day, the newcomers proved their love for all things aquatic from racing jet skis to filming underwater. The guys and their crew made a few “new friends” during a little lucha libre. The team also survived a flat tire on a deserted road while making their way to Tulum.

Florida Georgia Line Sell Out Shows Nationwide

Jaida Dreyer Streams New Single “Half Broke Horses”

Country singer-songwriter and Streamsound Records recording artist Jaida Dreyer is set to release her debut album, I Am Jaida Dreyer, on February 26th. The album will be available on all major digital retailers, including iTunes and Amazon. The single, “Half Broke Horses,” is streaming now on Jaida’s YouTube.

The breakout release features 10 original songs written or co-written by the singer and is produced by Grammy award-winning record producer Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sugarland). The album features a special guest appearance by Sugarland’s Kristian Bush on the track, “Boy Who Cried Love,” which she also co-wrote.
