Yesterday we sat down with country sensation Home Free just before their show at TPAC in Nashville on Dec. 13th to discuss their new album, favorite Christmas memories, favorite holiday dishes, and much more!
Get to know this incredible country vocal group who first gained national attention and won fans’ hearts as the winners of NBC’s “The Sing Off” in the video below.
The show itself was a great mix of country classics with a new twist, original tunes, and Christmas favorites. Their delivery was absolutely mesmerizing with solid harmonies all throughout their performance. It’s pretty incredible what they are capable of doing with just their voices alone. In-between songs, they light-heartedly interacted with the crowd keeping the concert going at a great pace and effortless flow.
A highlight of the evening was the drum solo segment minus the actual drums featuring the beatboxer of the group, Adam Rupp, that was met with a standing ovation.

After having to miss the BMI Country Music Awards in November due to a prior commitment performing at the CMA Marketing Summit, Scotty McCreery excitedly accepted his first BMI Award in person last Friday afternoon, Dec. 11, for writing one of BMI’s Top 50 Country Songs of 2015: his Platinum-selling Top Ten hit “See You Tonight.” BMI announced its list of Top 50 songs in November at its annual event, but with McCreery unavailable, he didn’t want to just “mail it in.” McCreery wrote the song with Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell, and it served as the title cut of his second studio album and earned him a Top 10 hit on both Billboard and MediaBase. THE JOURNEY HOME PROJECT TO HONOR FALLEN HEROES ON NATIONAL WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA DAY
Country music legend Charlie Daniels’ co-founded non-profit The Journey Home Project will join the local community to lay wreaths upon the graves of fallen soldiers at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery as part of National Wreaths Across America Day, which will be celebrated in all 50 states and beyond on Saturday, December 12. The Journey Home Project has donated a total of 250 wreaths, which will grace the headstones of military servicemen and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, and representatives from “Journey Home” will be on-site to solemnly lay the wreaths upon each grave in a special salute.

The band has been tapped to perform their two-week No.1 and RIAA Gold-certified debut smash single, “Break Up With Him” from their new album, Meat and Candy, as well as their highly anticipated follow up single, “Snapback” in the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. hours, respectively.
