Keith took to the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last night as, a surprise performer at the legendary group’s sold-out show.
“If I had have been offered either a trip to the moon or sitting in with The Stones, I would still have been strapping on my Tele saying screw the moon,” said Keith Urban
Urban performed “Respectable” from the group’s 1978 album Some Girls.

The performances on the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage will kickoff on Thursday, June 6 at 10:00 AM/CDT with a high energy show from CMA Award-winning recording artist Sara Evans. 2013 marks the first time Evans has opened the Festival. She has 15 CMA Awards nominations to her credit, including six for Female Vocalist of the Year. Fans of that smooth, deep baritone voice that can only belong to Trace Adkins won’t be disappointed in the newest release to hit stores entitled ‘Love Will…’.
This 11-track album has an overall theme that shows a little softer side of the country hitmaker, and still leans towards a more traditional country sound that you’ve come to expect from Trace.
My favorite off the album is the poignant ballad featuring Colbie Caillat called “Watch The World End”; a song about two lovers lamenting over what they would do if the world was coming to an end. I, also, thoroughly enjoyed “Come See Me”; another ballad that will have all the ladies swooning as Trace sings “just let me be your everything. Come see me. I want to love you.” Continue Reading →
Tickets for the Nightly Concerts at LP Field are sold out a record-setting six weeks in advance of the 2013 CMA Music Festival! Demand for four-day ticket packages means single night tickets will not be available for LP Field concerts, CMA announced today.
“Tickets to LP Field sold faster than ever, but the good news for our fans is if you didn’t get a ticket for LP Field there are nine other entertainment and music stages, plus special events, and activities throughout downtown Nashville to enjoy,” said Steve Moore, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “And with the expansion of our autograph signings, concerts, and family events into the new Music City Center – which we have dubbed Fan Fair X – local and regional residents have affordable, easy access to great entertainment with hundreds of our most popular artists.”
