Nashville-based singer and songwriter Brandy Clark is gearing up for an exciting 2015, starting off the year with two GRAMMY Award nominations for Best New Artist and Country Album of the Year for her critically acclaimed debut 12 Stories. CBS will air the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on February 8, 2015. Clark has also announced that she will perform on ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers on January 12.

Arista Nashville Duo The Swon Brothers Perform on Huckabee’s Last Show
Arista Nashville duo, Zach and Colton, The Swon Brothers, performed their latest single “Pray For You,” on Fox’s HUCKABEE, which aired on January 3rd. Host Mike Huckabee also performed with the duo during the show. To everyone’s surprise, the former Governor of Arkansas announced that this show would be his last, making his jam session with The Swon Brothers the series’ musical swan song.

In the process, Rogers laid the groundwork for his later solo stardom. In this free-ranging conversation, First Edition members Kenny Rogers, Mike Settle, Terry Williams, Mary Miller, and Gene Lorenzo will discuss the group’s impressive career, which included hits such as “Just Dropped In (to See What Condition my Condition Was In)”; “Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love to Town”; Settle’s original song “But You Know I Love You”; and “Ruben James.” Presented in support of the exhibit Kenny Rogers: Through the Years.
TIM McGRAW KICKS OFF 2015 ON TOP OF THE COUNTRY RADIO CHARTS WITH HIS LONGEST-RUNNING #1 HIT IN 10 YEARS
While 2015 may have just begun, Superstar TIM MCGRAW and Big Machine Records are continuing the celebration by scoring the #1 song in the nation with “Shotgun Rider” on both the Billboard Country and Mediabase charts. McGraw logs a four-week run at #1 on Mediabase, with a three-week stint at the pinnacle on both Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and Billboard Country Airplay. Written by Marv Green, Hillary Lindsey and Troy Verges, “Shotgun Rider” signifies McGraw’s 36th career chart-topper and remains the current best-selling song on the iTunes Country Singles chart with over 500,000 copies sold to date. The fete marks McGraw’s 27th #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, which is the most of any artist in the chart’s 25–year history.
