The Dark Place
Well, after the benefit was done and the month of house rest, things settled down a bit. Fortunately for me, Copaxone which is one of the MS therapies, does work for me. It was able to stop the progression and things calmed down. However, as things began to settle down and friends went back to their normal lives, there was just me left to deal with my “new normal” of living with MS.
Exciting Things Going On At Boot Barn Just In Time For Summer Fun!
Wow! I was just checking out one of my favorite store’s website, Boot Barn! If you didn’t know, there is a brand new store located right down on lower Broadway here in Nashville featuring boots, of course, but also some fun summer festival attire. Now, I don’t know about you, but my wardrobe needs some fun editions and with CMA Music Festival JUST around the corner, it seems to me that it is THE place that I need to stop into to get ready for the festival coming up. I have to be honest with you, I don’t own any boots, but I have been eyeing them in the store. Think I’m just about to break down and buy myself a pair! Why not? I’m not really sure why I’ve been holding back, but I have.

Well, I guess I’m ready to tell the next piece to the story now.
The MonSter Within
Oh, yes, so the 2nd piece to my story about how I became an entertainment journalist and created FOCUS on the 615, is because a MonSter came into my life. That MonSter dwells inside me to this day. What the heck am I talking about? MS aka multiple sclerosis aka the MonSter. What exactly IS MS? Well, let me explain.

People often ask me how I got to be an entertainment journalist and doing what I do. So, I’m going to try to explain all of this and take you on a very personal journey with me that I share through entries just like this as I work to regain my health and finding my happy place along the way. I’m hoping that by sharing my personal story on here, that maybe I will inspire or help someone just like me that might be going through a difficult time in their life and struggling with something. Do you know anybody like that? Oh, yeah, that’s probably you, right? Because the fact of the matter is that ALL of us have either struggled or are struggling with SOMETHING in their life. I’m not unique by any means. I’m just a person trying to live my life the best way that I know how. Sometimes I get things right, sometimes I fail miserably. At the end of my life, though, I want to be able to look back and say that I made a difference somehow. I just want to be happy and live a long fruitful like filled with lots of love, laughter, and good times. So, if you’ll indulge me, I’m going to attempt to share my very personal story of how I got to be in this place in my life running an online entertainment magazine called FOCUS on the 615 where I interview artists, attend special events, and award show. I’ve got a story to tell that I think is worth sharing and I hope you’ll be interested in hearing about it. Here goes!
A Closer Look @ Tyler Farr | Get To Know Him In His Own Words
Tyler Farr just released his 2nd album last week entitled “Suffer In Peace”. I personally think that it’s his best effort to date. In stores now, be sure to check it out!
I especially love “A Guy Walks Into A Bar”. Farr’s music always seems to come from a very authentic, honest place and that’s what I love about him. His raspy baritone voice is one of my favorites on the radio today. I highly-recommend his new album. You won’t be disappointed.

Zeke Duhon Expresses The Power Of Love And Living In The Moment With New Video “Always Is Now”
“Love lives between everything we were and are yet to be,” writes Zeke Duhon, in a poignant reflection not often seen in a 20-year-old. The official music video for Always Is Now is his first since relocating to Music City from Tulsa at the end of 2013, while the song itself features the collaborative penmanship of hit singer-songwriter Matthew Perryman Jones.
