Amy Wilcox celebrated the release of her new single, “Summer In Slow Motion,” with Nashville-based media aboard the Nashville Pedal Tavern on Wednesday, August 12. The singer-songwriter hosted the fun-filled Nashville In Slow Motion event in support of her new single, and music video for “Summer In Slow Motion.” The video, which was filmed at Nashville’s J. Percy Priest Lake, now has over 113,600 streams on YouTube, and can be viewed on Amy Wilcox’s official YouTube channel, here.
CMT CROSSROADS is back with two new artists for a night of collaboration like no other. Chart-topping rock band REO Speedwagon and country singer/songwriter Sara Evans are the latest musicians to be paired together for an all-new episode of CMT’s flagship music series. Evans returns to the CROSSROADS stage for the third time, teaming up with the popular ‘80s band in Franklin, TN for CMT CROSSROADS: REO SPEEDWAGON AND SARA EVANS which premieres on Saturday, September 19 at 10 pm ET/PT.

RIAA’s top digital country male artist of all time Jason Aldean celebrated the success of his recent three consecutive No. One hits, “Burnin’ It Down,” “Just Gettin’ Started” and “Tonight Looks Good On You,” off of his PLATINUM record OLD BOOTS, NEW DIRT yesterday (8/11). Friends and family packed Nashville’s City Winery for a progressive party, which moved throughout the venue to celebrate each song.

A sold-out crowd of concert-goers went wild Wednesday night at the 40th Anniversary celebration of the legendary Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam, presented by Copperweld, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena as seven-time GRAMMY-nominee country star Eric Church, iconic Southern rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Blackberry Smoke made bombshell, unannounced appearances to honor U.S. military members and veterans.
You’ve heard of poker runs for charities or as a general community event where participants run, cycle, or canoe their way along a certain route to complete their hand, and now powerboats are the newest craze for these fun community-driven runs. Powerboat clubs all over the country have been putting together these events to introduce fellow boat owners to each other, with poker runs frequently occurring in places such as Miami, Lake Lanier near Atlanta and Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, and Nashville has recently been touted as a hotbed for powerboat gatherings.

“Swon Ball” anyone??? Arista Nashville’s The Swon Brothers took some time out this week to travel to Chattanooga, TN to show their support for #NoogaStrong, in light of the recent tragedy in the city. They invited some of their friends from WUSY to forget about work for a while and have some fun playing a 3-on-3 game of basketball. The Green Team won!! GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar sibling trio – THE BAND PERRY – will release their roaring new anthem “Live Forever” on Friday, August 14th. The track, produced by RedOne and Dann Huff, is the first taste of new music from The Band Perry’s forthcoming album due for release later this fall by Big Machine Label Group. “Live Forever” will debut on Country Radio nationwide on August 14th and will be available for purchase the same day at all digital retailers.

When “The View” called Grammy-winner Lee Ann Womack to appear on a special show honoring the military, she was scheduled for a vacation with her family. But considering the show – where she’d appeared after receiving her 2015 Best Country Album Grammy nomination for The Way I’m Livin’ – she asked her family if she could take a two-day detour to Manhattan before meeting them in Montana for their camping trip.
