On Wednesday, September 23, 2015, journalist Jewly Hight will interview the Indigo Girls in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Ford Theater about their creative inspiration, musical influences, and recording their latest album, One Lost Day, in Nashville.
Cass County, Don Henley’s first solo album in 15 years, has premiered on NPR, which is streaming the album as part of its “First Listen” series. The album can be heard in its entirety HERE up until its September 25 release via Capitol Records.

AXS TV kicks off its countdown to the network premiere of NASHVILLE with an all-new episode of THE BIG INTERVIEW: NASHVILLE SPECIAL EDITION, hosted by legendary newsman Dan Rather and featuring series stars Connie Britton and Charles Esten. The exclusive event, set to air on Tuesday, September 22, at 8pE, premieres in advance of the AXS TV debut of the hit country music drama, launching on Saturday, September 26 at 8pE. Each week will feature three back-to-back episodes, with encore airings every Saturday evening at 11pE and Tuesday evenings at 9pE. As part of the premiere festivities, AXS TV will air the NASHVILLE episodes with limited commercial interruption for the first four Saturdays, from September 26 through October 17.
Show Dog Nashville has announced the appointment of Jean Williams to the position of Northeast Promotion and Marketing Director by GM, George Nunes. Williams has extensive music industry experience most recently as Director of Affiliate Sales at Westwood One. Williams has previously held radio promotion positions at Warner Music and Sony Music Nashville.
Emerging singer-songwriter Brian Collins announced today. Inspired by his current single, “Shine A Little Love,” the festival will take place October 23-24th at Florida’s popular beach destination 30A and will bring along with it an all-star lineup. Proceeds from this festival will help to ‘Shine Love’ Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and Wesley Burnham Foundation who both work tirelessly to ‘Shine Love’ on others.
