2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Original
¾ parts Freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
¾ parts Honey Syrup

Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker. Shake until well chilled, about 10 seconds. Strain into an ice-filled double old fashioned glass.

1 1/5 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Caribbean Rum Cask
Coconut Water
1 brown sugar cube
3 dashes of Angostura Biters
Lime wheel

Add Tullamore D.E.W. Caribbean Rum Cask, brown sugar and bitters to a highball glass and muddle. Top the cocktail with coconut water and ice, stir together. Garnish with lime wheel.

Iced Irish Coffee – created by Tim Herlihy, National Tullamore D.E.W. Ambassador

2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey
1 teaspoon ground espresso
2 teaspoons demerara sugar
3 parts cold brew coffee
Fresh cream

Combine whiskey and espresso in a small bowl; let stand 15 minutes. Strain whiskey through a coffee filter into a cocktail shaker.
Meanwhile, stir sugar and 2 tsp. hot water in a small bowl until sugar is dissolved. Add demerara syrup and cold brew to cocktail shaker; fill with ice. Shake until outside of shaker is frosty, about 30 seconds. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice and top with cream.

Irish Coffee – created by Tim Herlihy, National Tullamore D.E.W. Ambassador

1 ½ parts Tullamore D.E.W. Original
1 ½ parts strongly brewed coffee (Tim’s Pick: any premium dark roast)
½ part sugar (Tim’s Pick: Demerara Sugar)
Lightly whipped heavy cream
Cinnamon or nutmeg

Preheat a clear-stemmed glass with very hot water. Add the sugar and brewed coffee and stir well. Once sugar has melted, stir in the Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey. Gently whip the heavy cream by shaking it in a protein shaker with a blender ball – you want a still somewhat loose, not stiff consistency. Pour the cream over the back of a hot teaspoon to top the drink (and prevent cream from penetrating the top of the drink). Finally, garnish with grated nutmeg or cinnamon for spicy finish.

Hot Toddy – created by Tim Herlihy, National Tullamore D.E.W. Ambassador

2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Original
¼  parts lemon juice
2 tbsp honey
Top with boiling water and a clove studded lemon

First warm a mug with hot water, then discard water and combine ingredients above. Stir before serving, garnish with lemon.

2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Original

1/5 parts St-Germain
¼ parts Fresh Lemon Juice
¼  parts Simple Syrup
5 slices of Cucumber

 

Muddle the cucumber slices in a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients and ice to the shaker and shake vigorously. Fine-strain into a chilled rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a cucumber slice.

GMA Foundation Announces Hall Of Fame Inductees And Honors Recipients For GMA Honors Celebration, May 8

(Feb. 27, 2019) – The GMA (Gospel Music Association) Foundation along with partners Christian Healthcare Ministries and CCLI announced its inductees and honorees for the 6th Annual GMA Honors and Hall of Fame Ceremony set for Wednesday, May 8, 2018 at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena. This year’s GMA Hall of Fame inductees include legendary CCM artist Don Moen, President and CEO of New Day Christian Distributors Dottie Leonard Miller, southern gospel artist Janet Paschal and GRAMMY® award-winning gospel singer Tramaine Hawkins. The event also honors individuals and organizations that are impacting our culture both past and present. This year’s honorees include Don Finto for Caleb Company, LaDonna Boyd for R. H. ALABAMA Honored With T.J. Martell Foundation’s Tony Martell Lifetime Entertainment Achievement Award

Nashville, Tenn. (February 26, 2019) —Last night, legendary country music group ALABAMA was awarded the Tony Martell Lifetime Entertainment Achievement Award at the T.J. Martell Foundation’s 11th Annual Nashville Honors Gala.

 

Brad Paisley was on-hand to pay tribute to Jeff Cook, Teddy Gentry and Randy Owen, performing a medley of some of their hit songs, including “My Home’s in Alabama,” “Dixieland Delight,” and “Mountain Music.” Charlie Daniels followed, taking the stage to present the band with the esteemed honor.

 

“We have been fortunate to have won over 280 industry awards in our 50 years of recording and touring, but the Tony Martell Lifetime Entertainment Achievement Award may be the most special award we have ever gotten,” says Owen. “Anything we as a group can do to help find a cure for cancer is very important to me, Teddy and Jeff. We appreciate the Nashville music industry, Brad Paisley and Charlie Daniels for making our night extra special.”

 

Monday night’s event, held at the Omni Hotel in Nashville, raised nearly half a million dollars for the T.J. Martell Foundation. Additional honorees included Kings of Leon, Sally Williams, Dr. Kathryn Edwards and Sylvia and Al Ganier.

 

The Nashville Honors Gala is one of the T.J. Martell Foundation’s premier events that pays tribute to outstanding community leaders and presents special musical performances with heartwarming presentations that celebrate the evening’s honorees. In addition to the performances, there was a live and silent auction with proceeds benefitting cancer research.

Grand Ole Opry And Belk To Celebrate The SEC March 16

2019 Tin Pan South Performers & Schedule Released

Luke Combs’ “Beautiful Crazy” Is #1 At Billboard Country Airplay Chart This Week, First Artist In History To Send First Five Singles To Top Of Chart

Luke Combs’ historic success continues this week with his latest single, “Beautiful Crazy,” reaching #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales charts. This is his fastest rising single to date (16 weeks) and makes Combs the first artist ever to send his first five singles to the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. “Beautiful Crazy” is also the first country single shipped to radio already platinum-certified since Taylor Swift’s “Red” in 2013 and has more than 250 million on-demand streams. The achievements continue an already monumental year for the breakthrough singer, songwriter and performer, who was recently nominated for two 2019 ACM Awards (Male Artist of the Year and New Male Artist of the Year), won New Artist of the Year at the 52nd Annual CMA Awards, was nominated for Best New Artist at the 61st GRAMMY Awards and was the recipient of a CMA Triple Play Award for writing three #1 songs in a 12 month period.

Award-winning duo Big & Rich took over lower Broadway at the Redneck Riviera bar on February 14th for their annual Country Radio Seminar show.  Special guests included Uncle Kracker, DJ Sinister, Jason Michael Carroll and more. The 2019 “Peace, Love & Happy Hour Tour” presented by Redneck Rivera Whiskey will kick-off April 9 in Green Cove Springs, FL.
