BMI Nashville Vice President of Writer/Publisher Relations Jody Williams and the BMI Nashville Writer/Publisher Relations team recently made the trip to Kingston Springs, TN, just outside of Nashville, to re–present songwriter, artist, and country music mainstay Paul Overstreet with more than 30 BMI Country Awards to replace the ones lost in the massive, historic flood that nearly devastated Nashville and the surrounding cities in 2010. Luke Bryan Ready to Co-Host ACM Awards With Appearances Set for The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Talk

The Academy of Country Music’s reigning Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan, is excited for his second ACM Awards co-hosting honor and will be promoting the show with multiple appearances scheduled for this week.

Luke will be a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this Thursday, April 3, his second appearance on the program in less than a month after his satellite performance of “She Get Me High” from Panama City Beach, Florida on March 13. Luke will also appear on The Talk this Friday, April 4. Entertainment Tonight and The Insider will broadcast interviews with Luke on April 3 and 4, respectively, and he’ll also be talking to E! News, Extra, Access Hollywood and more!

Kellie Pickler To Co-host ABC’s ‘The Chew’ Today

Critically-acclaimed country music singer/songwriter and Black River Entertainment recording artist Kellie Pickler will guest host ABC Television’s “The Chew” on Tuesday, Apr. 1, which airs at 12:00 PM (noon) EDT / 11:00 AM CDT. With the woman The New York Times playfully described as having a “five-alarm personality” in control, all sorts of fiesty fun is bound to break out on the show.

“I always look forward to learning a few new things in the kitchen at ‘The Chew’,” said Pickler. “And, I’ll be on the show on April Fool’s Day, so who knows what mischievousness we’ll cook up!”

Pickler first appeared on “The Chew” in 2012 and has been eager to return to the top-rated daytime show and its audience of more than 3.165 million viewers. As part of her role as guest host, Pickler will be on camera throughout the show, chatting with the other hosts, cooking in the kitchen, interacting with the audience, and of course, talking about her new album, The Woman I Am, which Rolling Stone gave 3.5 stars and Engine 145 wrote “affirms her status as an authentic personality and, more importantly, an intelligent picker of songs.”
