If you are looking for something to do this weekend and/or New Year’s Eve, Tim Rushlow and his Big Band residency of Swingin’ At The Palace concludes at Nashville Palace this weekend.

Rushlow sings some the biggest hits from the American Songbook with the help of his fantastic 24-piece band.  He infuses some Christmas music in there, too.  Plus, for Little Texas fans, you might even hear a song or two.  It’s a real treat and something you only rarely get to hear.

The former frontman for multi award-winning Little Texas has been enjoying a residency at the Nashville Palace since the beginning of November and it concludes on New Year’s eve.

He and his team have managed to transform the main room of the legendary honky tonk into a 1960’s nightclub for the special residency.  It is complete with a maître d’ in a tuxedo, waiters and waitresses in black & white, cloth table tops, and lit by candlelight with pine trim and holiday lights.

Tickets can include a nice meal of prime rib or chicken with side salad, side dishes, dessert, beverages, and an alcholic drink of your choice from a speciality bar just for the occasion.

Rushlow is not looking to imitate musical greats from the past who created the American Songbook such as Frank Sinatra, Bobby Duran, Dean Martin and more.   He is honoring a style of music he has always been a fan since a kid by placing his own spin on them with his powerful voice that is just as good today as it ever was.  Even Bobby Duran’s son reached out to him to thank him for keeping his father’s music out there.  And, he’s also not looking to start his own Rat Pack in Nashville, either, but I wouldn’t be opposed!

Don't miss "Swingin' At The Palace" as award-winning former Little Texas frontman, @TimRushlow, brings his big band sound with a 24-piece band to @thenashvillepalace every weekend now through New Year's Eve. It is a treat to see & an experience that you don't want to miss. No one is doing this anymore, singing the American songbook & standards from such greats as Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, & more. He has a true love for the classics from eras past bringing his incredible voice & charisma as he lights up the stage for nearly 2 hours. 🎺🎷🍸🥂 Be transported back to 1965 in Las Vegas when the Rat Pack led the way as the Nashville Palace has transformed it's main stage area & room into a nightclub setting from decades ago complete with a maî·tre d in a tuxedo, decorative lighting, Christmas decor, and cloth-covered tables with soft candlelight. 🌟 Don't miss a fantastic datenight with your significant other as you dine on salad, delicious prime rib or baked chicken with tasty sides, speciality cocktails, and creamy cheesecake as you are entertained all evening long. Dinner & drinks are included in your ticket price with the show.😎 You'll feel just like you stepped back to 1965! Get your tickets now, as they are going fast as word spreads of this unique production. Buy tickets from the Nashville Palace either over the phone or their website. You can buy them there that night, but we strongly encourage you to get your tickets in advance, so you don't get left out!🍸 ===================================== #timrushlow #littletexas #bigband #thenashvillepalace #americansongbook #standards #franksinatra #nightclub #music #dinner #video #videos #videooftheday #instavideo #instamusic #insta #instagram #instagramer #instagramers #instagood #instadaily #fun #cool #thingstodo #weekend @moments_by_moser_photography
