GRAMMY-nominated, award-winning country music duo Thompson Square have decided to step away from BBR Music Group’s imprint, Stoney Creek Records, their label home since 2009.

Since breaking into the country music scene, the multi-platinum selling duo have achieved international success scoring three #1 hits and five Top 20 hits, with streaming numbers surpassing 600 million and a social media following of nearly 2 million. “It’s bittersweet leaving our Stoney Creek Records family,” says Shawna Thompson, “So many memories have been made and so many goals have been achieved.  We will be forever grateful to Benny and Carolyn Brown for their faith in our artistry.  It has changed our lives forever.”

Thompson Square have appeared on multiple major media franchises including NBC’s The Today Show, Fox & Friends, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan, The Queen Latifah Show, The Arsenio Hall Show, CBS This Morning, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, Glamour, Elle, USA Today and much more.

“All good things must come to an end but we look forward to the future and to new beginnings,” Keifer Thompson shares, “We are extremely excited about this new chapter of our life and what it means for our music and our fans.”

The three-time “Vocal Duo of the Year” (ACM/CMA) have received top honors in music including two GRAMMY nominations for “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” and “Best Country Song,” seven mainstream industry awards and over 25 additional award nominations.

Thompson Square continue to be represented by Shawn Pennington at Pennington Entertainment and William Morris Endeavor’s Greg Oswald and Abby Wells Bass. The duo is currently in the studio recording their forthcoming album with GRAMMY Award-winning producer Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum).

Luke Combs joined his BMI co-writers Thomas Archer and Taylor Phillips at downtown Nashville’s ACME Feed and Seed to celebrate their two-week No. 1 PLATINUM-certified hit. Yesterday’s celebration was an especially momentous occasion as the single marks the first No.1 for Combs, Archer and Thomas. Friends, family and Nashville industry gathered to commemorate the success of “Hurricane” as the first debut artist single to top the chart for multiple weeks since Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” and the first debut solo male to accomplish the task since Darius Rucker in 2008.
