CMA PARTNERS WITH NCVC ON FREE INDOOR STAGE DURING CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL

Bridgestone Arena is the cool place to be during 2016 CMA Music Festival, Thursday through Sunday, June 9-12.

CMA is partnering with the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. to present the Music City Stage in the Visitor Center at Bridgestone Arena. The stage is the only FREE, air-conditioned indoor Festival stage in the downtown footprint and a great place to escape the heat while enjoying performances from up-and-coming talent.

“We are so pleased to present a new, official Festival stage in partnership with the NCVC,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “Each of our 11 stages provides a unique experience for our fans whether it is the mainstage at Nissan Stadium, rockin’ with fan favorites at Riverfront, or smaller, more intimate performances.”

“We have had a long-standing tradition of providing live music at our visitor center during CMA Fest,” said Butch Spyridon, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “It is a huge benefit to be adopted and embraced by CMA. In addition to upgrading our lineup, it is further validation of our ever-expanding partnership.”

Performances on the Music City Stage will take place from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM/CT daily during the Festival. The lineup includes American Young, Lauren Ashley, Barrett Baber, Risa Binder, Chad Brownlee, David Adam Byrnes, Brent Cobb, Julia Cole, Raquel Cole, Dianna Corcoran, Josh Dorr, George Ducas, Kenny Foster, Mitch Goudy, Calynn Green, Haley & Michaels, Lyndsey Highlander, Joey Hyde, Jillian Jacqueline, Jukebox Mafia, Kristen Kelly, Trea Landon, Rachele Lynae, Jordyn Mallory, Paul Malysa, Doug McCormick, Tristan McIntosh, Alyssa Micaela, Michaelis, Mockingbird Sun, Norlina, Hayley Orrantia, Brandon Ray, Mary Sarah, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Kalie Shorr, Southern Halo, Cody Webb, and Hailey Whitters. Adding to the “cool” vibe at Bridgestone Arena are the popular Ultimate Air Dogs soaring and splashing for fans on the Bridgestone Plaza. The dock-jumping, paddling pooches return to the Festival after a three-year hiatus with canine water performances each day at noon, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM. “I’m a Country Music fan have been all the way back to the ‘70s. Nashville is so high on my list I actually named my dog Nash after Nashville,” said Milt Wilcox, former Detroit Tigers pitcher and founder of Ultimate Air Dogs. “Where else can you go to see all the great Country Music stars and watch some of the best dogs in the world compete?”
