Don Henley will release CASS COUNTY, his fifth studio album, and first solo album in 15 years, on September 25, 2015. Named for the northeastern Texas county in which Henley was raised, CASS COUNTY will be available as a 12-song standard CD and digital album, as well as a 16-track deluxe version, which will be available on CD, digitally, and a double disc, 180 gram Vinyl LP. “She’s Kinda Hot,” the new single from 5 Seconds of Summer, is out today, providing fans a first taste of the Australian band’s upcoming album. A lyrically mischievous riot of an anthem – all crunchy guitars and high octane drums with a massive chorus – “She’s Kinda Hot” demonstrates why Billboard recently hailed 5 Seconds of Summer as a “new breed…better set up for superstardom than perhaps any other group out there.” The new album, which will be released by Capitol Records later this year, is the follow-up to 5 Seconds of Summer’s self-titled debut, which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 last July.

One of my favorite weeks during the year in Nashville is CMA Music Festival. It’s 4 days filled with fun and music at the largest country music festival in the world held in the home of country music! Oh, and there’s ALWAYS the summer heat that seems to turn up a notch on that week, too. It’s always a given! Grab your sunblock and drink plenty of water, you’ll survive it! There’s too much to enjoy about the festival and great music to be had to let those high temps keep you away.
