BIG & RICH SURPRISE TEXAS PROM PAIR WITH VIP TICKETS TO ACM AWARDS

Big & RichSuperstar country duo Big & Rich discovered late Friday that Canton, Texas teenager Jenni Sherwood’s dying wish is to attend a high school prom. [Full story here]. Jenni was diagnosed almost two years ago with desmoplastic small round tumors, for which there is no cure.  Sherwood, a freshman, built up the courage to ask her acquaintance and high school junior, Clayton Cox, to take her to the prom in a Facebook message. Cox obliged – with the help of the entire neighboring Edgewood High School, and Saturday night is their big night. VINCE VAUGHN TO RECEIVE THE “KEY TO THE CITY” FROM NASHVILLE MAYOR KARL DEAN ON BEHALF OF THE WILD WEST COMEDY FESTIVAL

Vince VaughnMayor Karl Dean, along with the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation, will present Vince Vaughn, president of Wild West Productions, with an official “Key to the City” in honor of his efforts to highlight Music City as a comedy destination via the highly successful Wild West Comedy Festival. The “Key” presented by the Mayor will be a framed piano key from Nashville artist Ben Folds’ piano that was damaged in the 2010 flood. The event will precede comedian Frank Caliendo’s festival debut.
