Martina McBride sat down with TODAY Show correspondent Jenna Bush Hager at her Nashville, TN home to share some holiday memories and excitement for 2015. In the midst of talking family traditions, favorite Christmas classics and what treats the McBrides leave for Santa (Dr. Pepper and cookies), Martina exclusively revealed that she has signed a new record deal with NASH ICON MUSIC, a joint venture label between the Big Machine Label Group (BMLG) and Cumulus that will produce new music and live events from Nashville’s most prolific artists over the last 25 years. Watch here.

Ever the consummate hostess, Martina moved the conversation into the kitchen for some Triple Chocolate Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies and Cranberry Margarita Martinis from the “Mistletoe and Martinis” chapter of her new book Around the Table (William Morrow/HarperCollins Publishing).

ABOUT MARTINA MCBRIDE: Martina McBride made history with her most recent album EVERLASTING as the first solo female artist to debut at #1 on the Top Country Albums chart with an independently released and distributed album in the chart’s 50-year history. The project also marks her fifth chart-topping debut. To date, she has sold over 18 million albums, which have included 20 Top 10 singles and six #1 hits. She has earned more than 15 major music awards, including four wins for Female Vocalist of the Year from the Country Music Association.
