Our Special Preview Of The Tanya Tucker “Strong Enough To Bend” Exhibit At The Country Music Hall Of Fame

imageWe recently had the opportunity to attend the Tanya Tucker “Strong Enough To Bend” Exhibition Preview at the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum where Tanya gave a special glimpse of her professional and personal life.  She was able to share the opening of her exhibit with both of her daughters and friends from around the world.

Tucker said that she has a 10,000 square foot warehouse that holds all her memorabilia from her remarkable career.  She stated it holds some cars but mainly clothes.  This warehouse is where the clothing and other items in the exhibition were obtained.

She spoke of her new album she has been working on in various Nashville studios.  She talked about her personal life and struggles she has had like losing both her parents.  Tanya said “That’s when I knew it’s time to grow up”. She had lost touch with her music but realized she can’t stay away from music as long as there is someone out there to listen.

imageThe exhibit holds various stage outfits and memorabilia such as the beautiful gown she wore at the 1979 Grammy Awards and the Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle with Tanya’s logo with her special color of pink paint.  It truly is a wonderful exhibit.

The quote of the night was Tucker stating “It felt like a George Jones type of night.”

Be sure to check out the exhibit now open at the Country Music Hall of Fame!
