New Country Music Festival Set To Take Place At Tennessee State Fairgrounds In 2015
The newest addition to the Country Music Festival Lineup will be located at the Tennessee Fair Grounds June 11-14th, 2015. Country FanJam announces the first inaugural Icons, Legends, and Emerging Artists music festival at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds since the last Fan Fair in 2001. The Festival will provide 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s Iconic and Legend performers as well as emerging artists to an audience of 50,000 plus attendees on117 acres. The festival will tailor to the rooted blue collar demographic at an inexpensive price of $100.00 over a four-day period. FanJam will also offer a day rate of $25.00 each day. “I feel like the fan has been over looked for too long, so I wanted to bring back something exciting to the average country fan, that both old school and new school music lovers can enjoy for a reasonable price, thus brings the Country FanJam” explains Festival Creator, Dale Guthery.

BMI To Name Vince Gill As ‘Icon’ At 2014 BMI Country Awards
Broadcast Music, Inc.®, (BMI®), a global leader in music rights management, will celebrate the extraordinary songwriting career of Vince Gill by naming him a BMI Icon at the company’s 62nd annual BMI Country Awards. The invitation-only event, which will be held on Tuesday, November 4 at BMI’s Music Row offices in Nashville, will honor Gill and the songwriters and publishers of the most-performed country songs of the previous year. The BMI Icon award is given to “songwriters who have had a unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers.” An all-star musical tribute will pay homage to Gill, who joins a list of past honorees that includes Dean Dillon, Tom T.
