“We’ve been on the road pretty much non-stop for the past four years playing as much as we can wherever we can,” said Moore. “When we started out sometimes there would only be five people at a show, and seeing the crowds grow over the years is really humbling and encouraging. And now to be teaming up with CMT for a tour is a really exciting moment in my career. We’ll definitely be playing lots of songs from the new album out on the road so it will be fun to test those out and see what the fans think.”
“Kip’s UP ALL NIGHT album swept us away with an edge and swagger that put him in a class of his own, coupled with three back-to-back No. one singles,” said Leslie Fram, SVP of Music Strategy, CMT. “The rest of the story is happening now and we’re proud to have him headline our 13th annual CMT On Tour, along with CMT Listen Up artist Charlie Worsham and hot newcomer Sam Hunt.”
Tonight, Moore will perform his new single “Dirt Road” for the first time on television when he stops by Late Night With Seth Meyers. From there, he heads full force into CMA Music Festival week with a special performance outside Bridgestone Arena for fans to kick off the CMT Music Awards Red Carpet pre-show Wednesday night and will present later during the live awards telecast.
The Washington Post calls Moore “one of Nashville’s breakout stars…” while his album UP ALL NIGHT was the best selling debut album from any solo male country artist released in 2012 and 2013, and produced three back-to-back No. one singles with the PLATINUM-selling “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck,” “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl.” His current single, “Dirt Road,” is from his upcoming sophomore album due out on MCA Nashville. Nashville’s rising singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Charlie Worsham is currently on tour celebrating his new single “Want Me Too” off his critically-acclaimed album Rubberband. Sam Hunt is quickly becoming one of Nashville’s most talked about young talents. Nashville Lifestyles’ Top Trio Pick Scarletta Emerges This Summer With Swampy Single “That’s Where You’re Gonna Find Me”
Billboard, CMA Close Up and Nashville Lifestyles have all had their ears tunes into one trio in Music City—that trio is Scarletta. That’s Where You’re Find Me uncovers a swampy new sound that’s sure to stick in your head faster than vapor to glass of lemonade on a humid New Orleans summer evening.
“Sometimes you find that special something when you connect with other artists both on stage and in the studio,” examines founding member Nathan Stoops. “It was like that with Benji Harris and it happened again with Emilee. The sound is so piercingly fresh and yet surprising comfortable to listen to. The energy both on and off stage is phenomenal.”
“It’s kinda like growing up,” continues Benji. “Some find their niche early on and others can meet one person and get completely redirected. Emilee did that for us. We’ve got a fire that burns so much stronger now. Give it one listen and I think you will agree.”
That’s Where You’re Gonna Find Me can be stream on www.scarlettamusic.com and will be available on iTunes and other online retailers on Tuesday, June 10th with a full EP planned for later this Fall.
Radio programmers can download a broadcast quality version available on AirPlay Direct at www.airplaydirect.com/scarletta.
CMA Fest will find the trio kicking starting their summer tour at Third and Lindsley at 6 PM on Wednesday, June 6th. Throughout the music filled weekend they will also be making appearances at the CMA Fest Fan Fair X Exhibit Hall.
“This will be my first CMA Fest and I couldn’t have picked two better friends to do it with than Nate and Benji,” says Emilee. “We bring out the best in each other and that balance really creates this unexplainable spark that only those that see the show get to experience.”
For a full schedule and to stay updated on Scarletta visit www.scarlettamusic.com or follow them on the following networks: Facebook – www.facebook.com/Scarlettatrio or Twitter – @Scarletta3.
After a hot debut on “CMT Pure 12-Pack Countdown” and breaking the Top 20 on Music Row with Right Here, Right Now, the trio is ready to take the stage and spread the Scarletta fever in 2014. Scarletta has been profiled as a “Spotlight on the 615” artist of the week on Billboard.com and was honored to be chosen as a Billboard “615 Top 10 Artists to Watch in 2013.” They also received a very similar acknowledgement from CMA as the organization chose them as a CMA Close Up “Who New to Watch in 2013.” Most recently premiere Music City publication Nashville Lifestyles release their list of the Top Trios in Nashville and Scarletta earned a top spot. The group found its roots in Nashville when the violin/vocal talents of Nathan Stoops and guitar slinging vocalist Benji Harris met in a recording session. Now, with the a fresh spirit and a genuine, organic brand spearheaded by new vocalist Emilee Allan, Scarletta fever is sure to heat up the summer nights in 2014 with their latest single.

Capitol recording artist Luke Bryan, who recently took home two trophies at the Billboard Music Awards, takes the top spot at country radio with “Play It Again,” making this his tenth career No. 1 single. The multi-week chart topper, written by Ashley Gorley and Dallas Davidson, is his fourth consecutive No. 1 single from Crash My Party, which was recently named Top Country Album at the Billboard Awards earlier this month.
Luke also makes Billboard chart history by reaching the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “Play It Again” and “This Is How We Roll” with Florida Georgia Line claiming the No. 2 spot. Luke becomes the first artist to ever hold the two top positions since the chart began in 1990.
Additional news out this week finds Luke as the cover subject of People Country’s “Sexiest Men” special issue. The cover, shot in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. in April, will be available on newsstands this week. This weekend, Luke will resume his “That’s My Kind of Night Tour” with shows in Charlotte, N.C., Washington, D.C. and Holmdel, N.J. This summer, Luke’s tour will include his first-ever headline stadium shows – June 21 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Penn., August 15 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Penn. and on August 31 at Soldier Field in Chicago, Ill.

Brad Paisley’s fun summertime video for his current single “River Bank” premiered on perezhilton.com this past Sunday, May 25. A portion of the video was also highlighted on last Monday’s edition of ABC’s Good Morning America, with the video making its full-length broadcast premiere on CMT.
The video was shot on a 150-acre body of water in Alabama and contains the usual summertime fun necessities – sun, water, boats, drinks, bikini-clad ladies AND a water-skiing squirrel by the name of Twiggy. Also spotted on location was a bald eagle’s nest, a natural predator to squirrels, so eyes were to the sky throughout the day to protect Twiggy.
The song is written by Paisley and Kelley Lovelace and is #15 and #16 respectively this week on the Billboard and Country Aircheck country airplay charts.

Marty Stuart To Release Double Album ‘Saturday Night & Sunday Morning’ 9.30, ‘American Ballads’ Photo Book 7.4
Five time GRAMMY-winner Marty Stuart will release a double record ‘Saturday Night & Sunday Morning’ on September 30 (Superlatone). Conceived as two albums, the first disc ‘Saturday Night / Rough Around the Edges’ captures the energy of a raucous, hard-hitting night of country music while the gospel-laden and harmony-rich second disc ‘Sunday Morning / Cathedral,’ the follow-up to 2005’s ‘Souls’ Chapel,’ channels the fervent and solemn spirit of a Southern Sunday morning.

Produced by Stuart and featuring his longtime band the Fabulous Superlatives — including guitarist Kenny Vaughan, bassist Paul Martin and drummer Harry Stinson — ‘Saturday Night & Sunday Morning’ features more than a dozen original compositions ranging from Stuart’s signature hillbilly rock to ballads and hymns (tracklist below). The set also features Marty’s takes on traditional songs such as Hank Williams’ “I’m Blue, I’m Lonesome,” the Stalter Brothers’ “Firing Line,” and George Jones’ “Old Old House.” The Staple Singers join Stuart to open ‘Sunday Morning’ with a stunning, lush rendition of their 1956 hit “Uncloudy Day.” Stuart recorded the song with Pops Staples’ telecaster and described the Staples singing on the track as “haunting,” like “ghosts singing in a cotton field.”
Talking about ‘Saturday Night & Sunday Morning,’ Stuart says, “A few years ago, I rededicated myself to traditional country music. We [Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives] spent some time in RCA Studios in Nashville, where so much of modern country was created, and we worked to imitate that style of production and songwriting.”
The album’s first single and subtitle of ‘Saturday Morning,’ “Rough Around The Edges,” is autobiographical. Quoting the opening stanza Stuart says, “I woke up this morning, with miles of life behind me, my friends worry, because they don’t know where to find me. Once again, I beg forgiveness for another lost night in my soul, some bad got a hold on me and it just won’t let me go — that was my life from 1987 to about ten years ago [laughs], it was a hard-living honky-tonk musician lifestyle.”
The new album arrives on the heels of ‘American Ballads: The photographs of Marty Stuart,’ a brand new exhibit of Stuart’s photography at Nashville’s Frist Center for The Visual Arts. The exhibit features more than 60 photos from three bodies of Stuart’s work, documenting the people and places he has encountered on tour over the past four decades – “The Masters” of country music, the “Blue Line Hotshots” on America’s backroads, and the Lakota people of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and other locations in South Dakota’s “Badlands.” The collection will be published as a hardcover book of the same title through the Vanderbilt University Press on July 4.
The Frist exhibit is the first of four museum programs Marty will participate in this year. On June 29, he will perform a concert as part of a week long festival at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian. Stuart and The Fabulous Superlatives will perform October 3 at The Sheldon in St. Louis, MO to open a three month exhibit of Marty’s photography and collection called “The Art of Country Music — Photographs and Memorabilia.” Lastly, Marty and The Fabulous Superlatives will perform alongside Steve Miller on October 6th at The Metropolitan Museum Of Art in conjunction with the exhibition Early American Guitars: The Instruments of C.F. Martin.
Marty Stuart and & his Fabulous Superlatives continue to tour in 2014, with dates scheduled across the United States and Canada this summer (full tour dates here). Stuart will once again host his Late Night Jam at The Ryman on June 4th to kick off this year’s CMA Music Festival, guests include Sam Moore, Travis Tritt and Connie Smith and many more.
