The T. J. Martell Foundation announces the addition of superstars Sheryl Crow, Blue Sky Riders and Jake Owen to the already stellar line-up for the 6th annual 2014 Honors Gala on March 10th.  The stars will join host Charles (Chip) Esten, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney and Darius Rucker in tribute to this year’s honorees.

The T.J. Martell Honors Gala is one of Nashville’s most high profile annual fundraisers which brings together celebrities with business, medical, sports and entertainment industry leaders to raise awareness for innovative cancer research.  This year’s honorees, which were announced in January, are Nashville real estate visionary Mark Bloom, music industry icons Dale Morris and Mike Dungan, entrepreneur Beth Dortch Franklin and cancer research pioneer Scott Hiebert.

“It is our privilege to welcome the participation of these additional superstars to our 2014 Gala” states T.J. Martell Foundation’s Southern Region Board President John Huie.    “As we continue to grow one of our most important fundraisers of the year, we are grateful to have these talents support our efforts to shine more light on our foundation’s mission of raising money for cancer research, while helping to honor this year’s recipients.”

Sheryl Crow is a nine-time GRAMMY winner who has sold more than 35 million albums around the world, has performed duets with musical luminaries such as Sting and Mick Jagger, has been nominated for an additional 27 GRAMMYs, has released eight studio albums (all charting Top 10, four of them platinum-plus), a quadruple-platinum greatest hits collection and a Christmas album. Her most recent album, FEELS LIKE HOME, captures the sound of a great and established artist enjoying a kind of fresh start. Crow has a combined 40 Top 10s on the Billboard Hot 100, Adult Top 40, Adult Contemporary, Mainstream Top 40, Triple A (with the most No.1 singles among women in the chart’s 17-year history) and Hot Country Songs charts, Crow can also count a Top 20 solo country single to her long list of accolades. Her current single, “Callin’ Me When I’m Lonely,” is the second single off FEELS LIKE HOME.

Blue Sky Riders is Kenny Loggins, Gary Burr and Georgia Middleman. The trio released its debut album, Finally Home, in early 2013 on their own label, 3Dream Records.  The New York Times said they had “found an usually comfortable fit,” as the veteran singers all provide lead vocals and generate an impressive three-part harmony.  Loggins is considered one of modern music’s most recognizable voices with Burr and Middleman garnering many accolades and various musical honors as tow of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters.  The impetus of the group emerged in 2008 when Loggins invited Burr to join forces on his much lauded What About Now release, and realized that they sounded like brothers.

Since releasing the chart-topping album, BAREFOOT BLUE JEAN NIGHT, Jake Owen has emerged as one of country music’s leading vocalists. The project delivered four consecutive No. 1 hit singles, including the multi-week chart-toppers; the DOUBLE PLATINUM title track and PLATINUM “Alone with You,” and GOLD-certified hits “The One That Got Away” and “Anywhere with You.” Poised to follow the success is Jake’s latest album DAYS OF GOLD featuring the hit title track and upcoming single “Beachin’.” His energetic live show and captivating songs have landed him coveted opening slots with Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and his first headlining tour, CMT on Tour Jake Owen: The Summer Never Ends 2012, which made CMT history for the most sold-out shows in a row for the annual nationwide tour. His second major nationwide headline run – JAKE OWEN’S DAYS OF GOLD TOUR 2014-will begin its run in March.

The March 10 event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and premiere silent auction. The festivities continue at 7:00 p.m. with dinner, the awards presentation, outstanding musical performances and a live auction.
