Dolly Parton Pulls Out Of Waterpark Planned In Nashville

Dolly Parton – Iconic singer, songwriter, musician, actress and philanthropist – announced today that she will no longer be associated with the previously planned water park in Nashville.

“Gaylord makes decisions that they feel are good for their company and their stockholders and I have to make decisions based on what is best for me and the Dollywood Company,” said Parton. “Governor Haslam, Mayor Dean, and all the folks in government have been great to work with. I really appreciate their support through this process.”

“I think everyone knows I love Nashville and I hope the work we’ve already done will spark more family entertainment in Nashville,” Parton added.

Legends Honored, Superstars Perform at 6th Annual ACM Honors

The Band Perry Takes A “Sweet” Surprise Tour Of Music Row

Amid a hefty schedule of touring and working on a new album,  Republic Nashville recording artists, The Band Perry, made time to visit with friends around The Row this week. The sibling trio brought some delicious Gigi’s cupcakes and enjoyed meeting with staff at the CMA office, among others. Tonight  they head further south, playing for fans in Jacksonville, Tampa and West Palm Beach, FL on Brad Paisley’s Virtual Reality World Tour.
